They have great chocolate ice cream and make delicious thick shakes with it. Their fresh baked waffle cones are very good and go well with most flavors of ice cream they offer. “My daughter is very picky with ice cream and saw a Facebook ad requesting we go. We went and ordered 4 different things in the hopes she’d eat something. She finished her entire ice cream and literally gave it a thumbs up. Usually she eats 1-2 bites and says she’s done. My 2 year old swapped between his and mine because he couldn’t decide what was better. My husband finished his first and doesn’t usually eat ice cream. We got strawberry sorbet, Greek yogurt, Belgium chocolate, chocolate hazelnut Oreo-one was made into a sandwich nothing but deliciousness!“

I started with a taste of walnut & fig (excellent), then we asked the server what his favorite flavors are. He said raspberry, which a lot of people pair with ferrero rocher. My favorite is the red velvet and I also love the chocolate chip. They make a speciality cookie monthly which always piques my interest. “My only complaint is that the lone worker today, when I was paying with a credit card (without tap) took my card and tried to use tap. Before she took my card I was going to put it into the card processor. When I pointed out that it doesn’t have tap, she (2x’s) typed my card information into the register screen and it was declined (plenty of credit was available because I got gas with it shortly after). I then used my debit card which she just took from me and again tried to use tap (again not a feature on that card either). She was finally able to put my card information for the debit card and it went through. If she had let me put my card in in the first place there would have been no problem with the original transaction attempt. I feel some of the staff might need better/more training on using the register.“

The star here is “Waffle Sticks”!!! I ordered it with Salted Caramel Gelato, Caramel Sauce, Whipped Cream and a Pistachio Macaron Gelato. Those Waffle Sticks are PERFECT!!! I definitely recommend it and will return!

Total cost was pretty good value and the space was clean and comfortable. Only drawback was that it was pretty busy, so order took a while and also I can see it might be difficult to get a seat during peak hours. Good thing most people are in and out pretty quickly. “Jersey & Co. is without a doubt the best gelato shop around. Absolutely delicious. The owner Peter studied gelato making in Italy and clearly has a passion and talent for creating incredible flavors. Some of our favorites are the Amarena, Cookies&Cream, Mango, and White Coffee flavors.

My fiancèe and I happened to meet Peter at an event and once we tried his gelato, we knew we had to have Jersey & Co. at our wedding. They not only knocked it out of the park with a delicious assortment of gelatos, but they also took such great care of us as people, going the extra mile every step of the way to make our wedding as special as possible. They even made a new gelato flavor just for our wedding!

We had previously done a ton of research of other shops in the NY/NJ area and everywhere we looked, either the product was subpar or the correspondence left us feeling unsure. But Jersey&co is gem of a local business that stands out for not only creating an outstanding product but also caring deeply for their customers. 10/10 would recommend to anybody who's looking for dessert catering for an event/wedding or simply wants a taste of some excellent gelato.“

“It’s so exciting to find an all vegan ice cream place, and I think the actual ice cream presentation is unique! You can pre-select from their options of soft-serve, crumb coating and sauce combinations or create your own.

I got the chocolate peanut butter pretzel cone with sweet cream ice cream. One thing that’s cool is that before putting soft serve in the cone, they put some of the sauces and topping, so once you eat the top of the cone, you can still get all those flavors. Then once the soft serve is in the cone, it’s covered in the coating of your choice (pretzel for me), and the sauces were drizzled on top. The way sauces were done for this one was a bit messy to eat, but super delicious. I loved the texture the pretzel coating added!

The price was also reasonable in terms of what ice cream sundaes cost in NYC.

The shop itself is small, and there’s only 3 stools inside. Because my cone was messy, I don’t think I’d want to try and walk with it, so I was happy I came during a less busy time and was able to get a stool. Also, the only way to order is through a tablet, and while the employee working did communicate she was there to answer any questions about the menu, it was a slightly weird experience of having an employee be right there, but then typing in your order — but also maybe during busier times, the system is really beneficial ??‍♀️

We received excellent flavor recommendations from the evening staff who were friendly and knowledgeable. The location is highly recommended if you are in the area.
