I know there are probably better things on the menu to order, but it was cold outside and I wanted hot soup, so I got the beef pho.The noodles were unusually short. I put the egg in the spoon and whisked it with the chopsticks, then mixed it into the broth to make it silky. The taste was fine, but I wish they’d put the sliced Hanoi chilies on the side (with the basil and lime) so that I could experiment with the flavors more. Spicy pho isn’t the typical default.
Came here on a Sunday night after spending the day with a few friends. When you first walk in, the inside looks fairly small but then the restaurant extends towards the back and you'll find more seating. It's fairly spacious in the back so you don't have to worry about feeling on top of the person next to you or have to worry about having to say "excuse me" as you try to get into your table. I love everything about this place. The food is a bomb and the staff are all great.I personally think all the pho in NYC is so mid. For NY standards, the pho is pretty good. But what Di An Di does really well is the rest of the menu. So good.Please just turn the music down!!! It’s so loud.
