“Found a solid spot inside LIC Food Hall — Pho Vital 🍜
They have lots of options and combo meals that are actually worth it. We got the lemongrass chicken rice and grilled pork vermicelli, both super flavorful and surprisingly light. The chicken was so juicy and well marinated, and everything came with fresh veggies on the side.

Also tried the warm ginger apple tea and Thai tea — both hit the spot. Perfect place for a refreshing meal when NYC weather gets hot ☀️“

“My rating is a 5/5 for the veggie toppings, 1/5 for the chicken, and 5/5 for the pork, but they deserve a good review. The sandwiches were bursting with flavor, however the chicken was sooooo terribly dry. My jaw was sore after 4 bites. Id recommend getting the pork, not the chicken. I could tell the chicken would've been a killer meal fresh and juicy, since the marinade was perfect and toppings pleasantly complimentary to it.“

“I came here for a bite with one of my friends after a morning workout class and it wasn't a bad spot! Located just on the outskirts of central LIC, it's a bit out of the way, but not hard to get to. They have some bar/window seating, but no tables. It's much more of a casual pick-up spot, if anything. Service was fairly quick.

Their menu contains banh mi, spring rolls, vermicelli bowls, and a variety of drinks (as well as baked goods in their displays). I got their grilled chicken and pork banh mi and my friend got their pork banh mi. Overall, it was better than I thought and not bad at all! The bread was crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside, and super warm. They were generous with the portions and gave lots of veggies, which I loved (I wish their pickled carrots and radish were just a bit crunchier though). The marinade for the meats was also well done! I would note that they used American mayo (as opposed to Vietnamese mayo) for the banh mi, which was super noticeable to me. Overall, not a bad spot for Vietnamese banh mi in LIC.“
