“It’s been awhile since I’ve posted anything worthwhile.
The family and I had a wonderful day at the Jersey Shore with some good friends and family. On our travels back home we decided to look for a place to have dinner passing through Staten Island. My wife found Ran Viet and was craving Vietnamese food for along time, boy were we not disappointed. From the outside it looks like any typical eatery yet inside felt homey and relaxed. We were greeted by our host with a smile and good vibes. She was quick and very organized . Our order was taken and with a blink of an eye our meals were ready, they were plated beautifully and may I say the portions were huge, my take out was a meal of its self. The flavors and aromas just hit you like a flavor train. We haven’t had Pho broth this good in along time. We are definitely adding this gem for whenever we pass through Staten Island it’s a place you just don’t want to miss.“

“Have come here 10+ times. especially with my girlfriend and have experienced some of the best vietnamese food i've ever tasted. the price is solid but the food is worth more than the price. Their spring rolls hit the spot everytime and almost every menu item works well. I have tried multiple dishes and can't say i've found one that i didn't enjoy. No matter the time of day or the hour there's always parking and tables open to eat inside. Would recommend to anyone who enjoys food that tastes good“

“I've been coming here for a few years and they have yet to disappoint, knock on wood!! They are like my second family at this point. Their Vietnamese coffee is to die for and I absolutely love their recipe for the Bun Bo Hue. “Came on a Saturday afternoon while visiting the area from NYC, I was a little thrown off by the name being written on a piece of paper on the window lol but my gut told me we were about to walk into something great.

The food was amazing, some of the best I've had! The pho broth was full of flavor, perfect portion, esp their meat to noodle ratio.
Their iced coffee is soooo creamy, smooth & strong coffee taste - just how we needed & love.

Staff was super attentive & very friendly.

“We love the sautéed chicken with lemongrass here. Also the sautéed shrimp with ginger and scallion, the rice stickys, and the clay pot casseroles. All the ingredients taste very fresh and we have ordered from here at least a dozen times. Definitely recommend!“

I recommend the pork or shrimp Pho and the pork & chicken spring rolls are amazing and full of flavor. This place is pretty affordable and cheaper then the ramen houses close by.“

“the Banh mi (Vietnamese sandwich) is very good and their other things are also pretty good, I heard, but it is a long wait, usually about 10 minutes if not busy and 20 minutes when there is a few people there. Also there is no dine in since the place in extremely small. So you order, wait outside, get your food, and leave. but definitely worth the wait if you have the time“

“Go to chinese food spot. Hands down probably best chinese food in brooklyn. Food is always on point and vegetables are always fresh and crunchy. Fried rice is actually fried rice and not yellow. Lo mein is always very flavorful and garlicky. One time my grub hub carrier never showed to pick up my order and they called and had their own delivery guy deliver it after they were already closing. When the food arrived our food was kept piping hot and was still incredible. Extremely well priced and overall great customer service. Never been disappointed.“
