“It’s been awhile since I’ve posted anything worthwhile.
The family and I had a wonderful day at the Jersey Shore with some good friends and family. On our travels back home we decided to look for a place to have dinner passing through Staten Island. My wife found Ran Viet and was craving Vietnamese food for along time, boy were we not disappointed. From the outside it looks like any typical eatery yet inside felt homey and relaxed. We were greeted by our host with a smile and good vibes. She was quick and very organized . Our order was taken and with a blink of an eye our meals were ready, they were plated beautifully and may I say the portions were huge, my take out was a meal of its self. The flavors and aromas just hit you like a flavor train. We haven’t had Pho broth this good in along time. We are definitely adding this gem for whenever we pass through Staten Island it’s a place you just don’t want to miss.“

“Have come here 10+ times. especially with my girlfriend and have experienced some of the best vietnamese food i've ever tasted. the price is solid but the food is worth more than the price. Their spring rolls hit the spot everytime and almost every menu item works well. I have tried multiple dishes and can't say i've found one that i didn't enjoy. No matter the time of day or the hour there's always parking and tables open to eat inside. Would recommend to anyone who enjoys food that tastes good“

“I takeout ordered the Bun Cha Gio Thit Nuong and it was absolutely fantastic! The sliced grilled pork was some of the I’ve had on this dish, the noodles were excellent and overall there were flavors I haven’t experienced at other Vietnamese restaurants in Brooklyn. Looking forward to coming back and dining in person soon!“

“At first the pho was great,came ate about 3 times after that,but this time i order to go ,i notice the Noodles are not the same before they were made from rice now the quality is not the same“

“The Vietnamese pho here was decent in both taste and portion size. The Dragon Pho was a little better, the beef short rib was very tender and nicely braised. The satay beef pho, however, was a bit tough and difficult to chew.

One thing to be aware of is that there is a 3% credit card processing fee, but the server didn’t mention it.“

The wings were crispy and flavorful, the entrees had just the right amount of spice, and the coffee and matcha milk cake are worth going for by themselves. Bahn mi is so good and fresh, the fried spring roll is delicious (small order is not enough), and Ban Xel is my go to dish. Iced Vietnamese coffee is sweet and strong.“

“Pho is decent but won't knock your socks off. Spring rolls (fried) are good, banh mi is good, rice plates are good. The food will satisfy whatever Vietnamese food craving you are having just don't expect it to be the best you've had (especially if you are used to west coast pho). Still good and satisfying though. I've been eating here since I was a kid and this restaurant is very nostalgic for me.“

“If you're looking for a clean home made tasting bowl of Pho this is your place. I prefer the chicken broth over the beef. I recommend the pork or shrimp Pho and the pork & chicken spring rolls are amazing and full of flavor. This place is pretty affordable and cheaper then the ramen houses close by.“

“This no-frills Viet-style restaurant has the best hand-made Bahn-Mi's in the city. The price is surprisingly affordable.

“The Vietnamese sandwiches at Little Thanh Đa are really good and definitely the highlight of the visit. The bread was fresh, the fillings were flavorful, and everything came together really well. If you’re looking for a tasty Vietnamese sandwich, I would definitely recommend giving this place a try.

That said, don’t come here expecting great customer service. The service was not very welcoming or attentive, and the overall experience could be improved. It feels like the food is the main reason to visit, rather than the service.

Overall, I’d give the food 5 stars, especially the Vietnamese sandwich, but the customer service needs improvement. I would still come back for the food, but I hope the service gets better in the future.“

“Go to chinese food spot. Hands down probably best chinese food in brooklyn. Food is always on point and vegetables are always fresh and crunchy. Fried rice is actually fried rice and not yellow. Lo mein is always very flavorful and garlicky. One time my grub hub carrier never showed to pick up my order and they called and had their own delivery guy deliver it after they were already closing. When the food arrived our food was kept piping hot and was still incredible. Extremely well priced and overall great customer service. Never been disappointed.“
