“This is easily the best pho place in Hoboken. It might even be better than some spots I’ve grown up eating at on the west coast. It’s a no frills spot, so don’t expect some spectacular ambiance, although I find it to be just right.“

“i’ve been here 3 times so far and not once was i disappointed. always consistent quality and friendly service.
i’ve been ordering the pate&bone, morning glory, and sugar cane shrimp for starters. pho ha noi is one of the best pho in the city imo, i’m sure i’ll try other things on the menu eventually 😂
i appreciate their right amount of seasoning, everything tastes balanced and flavorful.
will be going back for sure.“

“My banh mi was high quality and well priced, I would definitely return here in the future.
Roast pork was a little inconvenient take out style though, would prefer a larger bowl with everything mixed rather than meat, rice, and vegetables separate“

“I've had Bahn Mi's all over NYC but this place is the most flavorful. They pack the sandwich with well marinated veggies, the meats are always tender and bread is nice and crusty. The prices are reasonable too at $11. I wish they offered appetizers too like fried spring rolls.“

“If you’re in the Bronx and love Vietnamese food, you are in for a treat. This place is easily one of the best Vietnamese restaurants in New York. The pho is so flavorful and filling especially with the beef and pickled vegetables. The rice and pork with fresh vegetables is so good. The rice goes so well with the crunchy vegetables and the grilled pork chop. Overall, this place is so good.“

“Saigon Social is an amazing Vietnamese restaurant in the LES of Manhattan. Owned and operated by Helen Nguyen who uses her wonderful restaurant to prepare food for those in need for various organizations in NYC. She is a wonderful person and an amazing chef using her classical training to prepare amazingly authentic and forward thinking Vietnamese dishes. It’s a must visit!!!!“

“We were running late for our reservation, but the staff still welcomed us warmly and got us seated right away. The service was fast, friendly, and attentive throughout our meal.
We ordered quite a few dishes, and everything was delicious. The flavors were authentic and reminded us of the food back home in Vietnam. The portions and prices felt very reasonable for New York.
One of our favorite parts was the outdoor seating. Sitting on the sidewalk in small plastic chairs felt just like being back in Vietnam, enjoying street food on a busy afternoon. It created such a fun and nostalgic atmosphere.
If you're looking for authentic Vietnamese food, great service, and a unique dining experience in NYC, Mắm is definitely worth a visit. We'll be back the next time we're in New York!“

“The pork belly banh mi is the best banh mi I’ve ever eaten ngl. 9.8/10 it j wasnt cut all the way and the veggies ended up being all on one side 😭 the fried spring rolls were delicious too, highly recommend getting those two items. The ribeye banh mi was okay and the original one too. The coconut cream viet coffee is nothing too special and the summer rolls were very refreshing and great to snack on with the peanut sauce. But I will definitely be ordering the pork belly banh mi again.“

“I'm somewhat of a Pho and Vietnamese food fanatic. Having lived in Brooklyn nearly all my life, I've been to nearly ALL Vietnamese restaurants (86th st, Ave U, etc) but having moved I haven't tested this place out.
All I say WOW! I knew the food was going to be good as soon as I walked in and smelled the aroma. I got it to go and 30min later it was still nice and HOT.
The Pho is AMAZING, the portion is HUGE (I couldn't finish it) but ain't letting it go to waste (on a walkabout digesting my food now haha)
I can't wait to try some of their other dishes but I would HIGHLY recommend this place for the Pho. Thank you for making my day better :)
PS their to go packing is really good, didn't have to transfer the pho to another large bowl as it already comes in one!“

“JoJu puts a modern spin on the Vietnamese sandwich, and I’ve enjoyed it several times now. One thing that stands out is their finely shredded đồ chua instead of the more traditional hand-sliced pickled carrots and daikon. It gives the sandwich a different texture and a milder flavor, which may actually be more approachable for people who find stronger pickled flavors off-putting.
I also appreciate their choice of bread. It still has a good bite, but it’s not overly sharp or tough the way some banh mi bread can be, which makes the sandwich much more enjoyable to eat.
The proteins are very well seasoned and marinated. You can really taste the lemongrass and BBQ notes, and overall, it’s a great product. I’m leaving 4 stars only because I added lemongrass chicken to the BBQ pork banh mi, and the extra protein portion felt a bit light considering the added charge. I understand it’s a small business and costs are always a factor, but as a customer, I’d probably skip the add-on next time unless the portion is a little more generous.“

“I honestly can’t remember how many times I’ve been back to this place, but that probably says enough on its own. The food here is genuinely excellent, especially the chicken pho. The chicken is tender, juicy, and full of flavor, and I really like how a squeeze of lime lifts the broth and makes it taste even brighter and fresher. The portions are generous, the service is consistently good, and the restaurant is always clean, well-kept, and nicely decorated. I often come here for lunch with my coworkers, and it has become one of those reliable spots we keep returning to. If there’s one downside, it’s that the restaurant only opens from lunchtime onward, so sadly it’s not an option when I’m craving a good bowl of pho in the morning.“

“So happy I stumbled upon this restaurant - spent 2 weeks in Vietnam over Christmas and this brought me right back! Pho is just as amazing as in Vietnam - have tried a couple of places since back but this is just the best❤️
Very reasonable- super nice staff - very busy take-out but so nice to eat there too ! My new go to place when in the area and I will walk out of my way to get there !“

“The food is fresh and amazing. So happy there’s a Vietnamese spot in the neighborhood. Yay for bun Bo hue (and everything else; their Vietnamese iced coffee has sustained the addiction I acquired while in Vietnam wonderfully). Cocktails very good as well“

“This has got to be some of the best pho broth I have had in the area, to the point where I did not need to put any sauces to alter the taste. The beef combination had the perfect amount of meat and noodles to satisfy, not too much and not too little. I highly recommend the spot. 10/10.“

“My friends took me here and I honestly enjoyed everything we ordered. The flavors felt fresh, balanced, and very comforting from start to finish. Every dish that came to the table disappeared pretty quickly, which is usually a good sign.
That being said, I do not have enough experience with Vietnamese cuisine to judge how traditional or authentic it is compared to other places. I can only speak as someone who simply enjoyed the meal a lot.
The atmosphere was casual and welcoming, and it felt like one of those places people come back to regularly. I would definitely return to explore more of the menu next time“

“Found a solid spot inside LIC Food Hall — Pho Vital 🍜
They have lots of options and combo meals that are actually worth it. We got the lemongrass chicken rice and grilled pork vermicelli, both super flavorful and surprisingly light. The chicken was so juicy and well marinated, and everything came with fresh veggies on the side.
Also tried the warm ginger apple tea and Thai tea — both hit the spot. Perfect place for a refreshing meal when NYC weather gets hot ☀️“

“Their grilled pork bahn mi (extra meat, extra mayo) is still the best banh mi I’ve had in the city after 5+ years here. Doesn’t hurt too that the staff is so kind and the prices are great! Really a takeout/delivery spot - there’s not a lot of seating. You won’t be disappointed!“

Dishes are generous in portion. Give them five stars to hope they would stay afloat for us to have a good viet restaurant near by.“

“We’ve lived next door for a while now and I’m not sure why it took us so long to try out the food from here.
Ordered fried fish báhn mi and grilled chicken noodle bowl for takeout.
Both items were phenomenal.
I’m not much of a sandwich person, and other báhn mi’s I’ve tried have not been standouts. But this one is. The bread to filling ratio is perfect, and the bread they use is just really good bread. Flavourful, generous, filling and delicious, I think I may love báhn mi’s now.
The grilled chicken noodle bowl was so refreshing! It served genuine flavours and really fresh vegetables.
Generous portions, fresh ingredients, authentic flavours, I’m excited to eat my way through their menu.
So glad to find another neighbourhood gem.“

“Came here for the first time and had a delightful experience. The service was quick, the staff were attentive and the food was fantastic! The wings were crispy and flavorful, the entrees had just the right amount of spice, and the coffee and matcha milk cake are worth going for by themselves. Highly recommend, I will definitely be back!“

“Pho has great flavor and there are a lot of boba options to choose from. One small recommendation could be to allow people to customize the sweetness of the boba.
Knocking off a star because this place is quite slow. It consistently takes 20-30 mins for pho to come out even when the store is empty. The employees look like they’re working hard the whole time, so I think management probably should try to figure out a way to speed things up operationally.
Also the “contact us” link on their website is broken (which is why I’m writing this review instead of emailing them).“
