Mott Street Phở Bằng is a no fuss great pho spot and an old time old school favorite. This is a good to Pho shop with amazing Vietnamese Coffee. The restaurant is understated but cozy, homey and inviting, and very clean and accommodating. The service is always fast and great, with warm greetings and sweet family stories. The menu has a little bit of everything, whether it's hot or cold dishes. The food is authentic and delicious. The best dining experience includes the Banh Tap, a meat crispy lettuce wrap thing that changed a life. Other recommended meals are Pho Tai, Summer rolls, and Spring rolls. The Pho has lots of meat and noodles, and the #8 pho is super yum. The broth is really good, and the spring rolls are excellent. The condensed milk espresso is the perfect balance of sweet and strong. It is comfort food for the sole with good quality dishes. This is a proper institution that has been a favorite for over 3 decades, with fair prices for the area. It is a great place to chat with friends.
