“We walked in and it was pretty vacant however, it was lunch time on a Monday so that wasn't much of a surprise. It had a large selection of noodles, if you walk in and see the wall you'll see all the various options and then some. It was a little ambiguous until we saw the kiosk. The food however, was amazing. We got the beef and the duck duck noodles. You do have to make your own noodles and the instructions are on the tray on how to do it. Would definitely try again!“

“Overall the food was 4ish but 5 total for services and the prices. Everything we got was good although my friend said some of them were not that “Taiwanese.”

Surprisingly, ✨scallion pancake was delicious. Crispy edge, pretty simple and traditional style.

Beef noodles was good, I like it, but my friend said it was not Taiwanese style. If u r not looking for that, then it was still a good one.

Stinky tofu here was a fried style. It was good too, didn’t go wrong.“

I ate it all and drank all the juice with no shame and would have had no problem getting another. The lamb burger was ok but I don't think I would get it again. I have had others that were way better so that's the reason for that. The flavor of the lamb was good but the bun was a turn off for me. The bun to me resembled two slices of white bread. If that's your style then I would recommend it but I've had ones that were more flakey which is what I like more. I will definitely be back for the cucumber salad and to check out other items on the menu.

“I didn't realize that I've been to their Flushing location 6 years ago until I searched my photo library for this review. This location is in the food court inside Hmart LIC. It was grand-opened in May. And luckily the 30% grand opening discount continued to get extended for a couple of months, so it was a no brainer for me to visit every time I was in town during this period:

- Curry Pork Cutlet $17. Nice big platter size plate, but the pork was bland and the curry had no heat. It was a disappointment.
- Jolmyun Dukbokki $12. Dukbokki with glass noodle in the mix. It was better than expected and not as spicy as it looked. Good.
- Seafood Udon $14. Clear broth with prawns, fish cakes, and clams. Not bad. But I'd have Seafood Ramyun instead.
- Seafood Ramyun $12. Spicy and additive broth with lots of octopus, some clams and 1 prawn. Definitely recommend this over the Seafood Udon: better texture, more kicks, and $2 cheaper to boot.
- Pork Cutlet Udon $14. This is better than the Curry Pork Cutlet. At least the cutlet was hot and crispy and the udon soup was comforting. Not bad.

Prices are before 30% discount. Service can be slow, particularly for soupy dishes which can take 25 minutes without line. You can return your tray etc in the back of the food court next to the bakery.“

“Prince Noodle and Cafe in Flushing is a hidden gem that embodies the heart and soul of a true mom-and-pop establishment. Run by an exceptionally warm and friendly couple, this cozy eatery has carved out a stellar reputation for its exquisite wontons and dumplings.

Each visit to Prince Noodle and Cafe feels like a culinary adventure, starting with their renowned wonton soup. The broth is rich and flavorful, perfectly complemented by the delicate, handmade wontons that melt in your mouth. For those who crave variety, the dumpling trio is a must-try, offering a delightful assortment that showcases the couple's mastery in dumpling making. Personal favorites include the shrimp watercress dumpling and shrimp dumpling, each bite bursting with fresh, succulent shrimp and perfectly seasoned fillings.

The menu extends beyond dumplings, featuring an array of authentic noodle soups and lo mein dishes. The congee, a comforting rice porridge, is a standout for its silky texture and depth of flavor. The beef brisket, tender and infused with aromatic spices, is a hearty choice that never disappoints.

One of the greatest joys of dining at Prince Noodle and Cafe is the affordability of such high-quality dishes. The owners' commitment to offering delicious, authentic Chinese cuisine at reasonable prices makes this spot a favorite among locals and visitors alike.

For those who fall in love with their wontons and dumplings (which is inevitable), Prince Noodle and Cafe offers frozen versions to take home. This allows you to enjoy their wonderful creations any time, right from the comfort of your own kitchen.

In essence, Prince Noodle and Cafe is more than just a place to eat; it's a heartwarming experience that celebrates the rich culinary traditions of Chinese cuisine. The dedication and passion of the owners shine through in every dish, making it a beloved destination in Flushing.“

“While on my way home the other day, I saw that this new restaurant recently opened so I quickly jumped off the bus to grab a quick snack. My first impression as I entered and saw families hanging out and kids running around, was that this was a nice neighborhood hangout. The inheritor is a clean and feels spacious. It's a fast casual place, you place your order at the counter and they bring the food to your table. I quickly realized that this was a family-owned business and most of the staff only spoke Chinese. Luckily, the menu is also in English so and I was able to get an order of pork, shrimp and vegetable dumplings. The dumplings were juicy and filled with stuffing. I wish it had been fried rather than steamed but I don’t think they understood me when I placed my order. Still, it was a good hearty dish, and it was a bargain for $8.99. I ended up ordering frozen dumplings as well ($25 for 50 pieces) to go. Can't wait to fry them up at home.“
