“OMG!! I stumbled upon this hidden gem;
I was first greeted with a very welcoming approach so, asked for a recommendation and was not disappointed. I ordered the Braised Beef Noodle Soup. It was so delicious and yummy. I give this noodle house a 10 out of 10. I’m definitely coming back, and you should try it too.“

“My sister is visiting from Taiwan, and she loves trying Korean food. Today, after attending the 47th Annual Thunderbird American Indian Powwow, we stopped by Biwon Korean BBQ, which was nearby, and it turned out to be an amazing experience.
The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming. We ordered two dishes—pork and chicken—and both were absolutely delicious. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and perfectly cooked.
One of the highlights of our meal was the generous variety of complimentary side dishes. There were so many to choose from, and every one of them was delicious.
I highly recommend Biwon Korean BBQ. We had a wonderful dining experience.“

“Ji Bei Chuan is my go-to hidden gem in Flushing. Both dry-tossed and soup rice noodles are fantastic: the Family Combo dry noodles are coated in rich savory sauce, the beef brisket noodle soup has a deep hearty broth, the pickled vegetable fish noodle is bright and appetizing, and the premium fish maw bowl is loaded with quality ingredients. Sides, grilled gluten and crispy juicy tofu are also amazing — perfect with noodles or beer. Highly recommend!“

“The best Thai food I’ve had in NYC - I’m speaking both as a NYC native foodie and as someone’s who’s had the same food made in Thailand - so trust me! Truth be told, my friend randomly chose this place on Maps, but we ended up truly loving everything we got and bookmarking this restaurant. For the appetizer we had tofu (crunchy and soft!) with peanut sauce, tom yum hot pot for the entire table, mango salad with salmon, green curry (which came in a cute little pot), and tom kha coconut milk soup with chicken for myself. Our entire meal was so filling and comforting. The drinks and desserts looked extremely good on the menu, but pricy for us. I would say that everything we ordered was worth the bill, though! They have some outdoor seating with shade, which I’m sure is very nice in mild weather, but the inside was so vibrant and cozy, full of colors and music. I am definitely coming here again!“

“We went the other day with family, and it's not enough to say we were completely blown away by how good this restaurant was! The service was incredibly warm and helpful, and the Thai BBQ was a truly tasty and fun experience. They serve meat and can also make soup – it was a really fun and delicious experience!“

“I decided to dine in this restaurant for the first time. I had a wonderful experience with the women who was the cashier and the server she had a very beautiful spirit and a funny personality. She was very polite, courteous and professional. She had great (Hospitality). She gave me a very sweet piece of watermelon. I was happy and satisfied with the service I will definitely be returning again. Thank you so much and keep up the good work.“

“When i have no target at a food court, drifting from stall to stall, I seem to always end up with noodle dishes. Today was no exception, after roaming through the food court at Eat Up without a decision, we settled with Chong Qing Noodle at the New World Food Court.
We haven’t eaten here before. I asked the staff for their number one signature dish from this Sichuan city if Ching Qung. The answer came back without hesitation: the Minced Pork & Pea ($10.99). We also ordered the Pickled Cabbage & Beef Slices ($12.99).
When the dishes were ready, I had to confirm if they were really my dishes because I had thought minced pork comes with dry noodle. Why? The minced pork gets lost and ends up at the bottom of the soup instead of clinging to the noodle like the Korean jajangmeon. The other dish, on the other hay, was on point. The fatty beef slices curled up like the hot pot meat, nice and tender. The noodle itself was a bit too thin for me.“

“I was in the area and I come there for Korean food but happened to notice this place stating Korean Vietnamese food and was a little skeptical. I am Vietnamese and do speak Vietnamese and know the Vietnamese names for the dishes. This woman knew how to make vietnamese food with her Korean flare, just didn't know the names understandable. I inquired about one dish the call Bun Cha and is actually with Bun the skinny rice noodles and flattened pork meatballs and actually was made famous by president Obama visiting Hanoi, a Northern Vietnamese dish and not cold dipping noodles as they say that's a Korean dish.“

“There are three really good Taiwan restaurants in Elmhurst, each with their own unique features…but Happy Stoney’s uniqueness is its authenticity.
I don’t just mean what’s on the menu, but how it tastes! If you’ve spent time in Taiwan and loved the food scene, you know EXACTLY what I mean!
Another point worth mention is that this business ISN’T GOING AWAY!
If you love Taiwan food, and you hate social media blackmail, show your support and make your stomach happy!“

“Not just the best restaurant at Terminal B, but generally delicious Lo Mein with lots of fresh veggies and the chicken is a great topper!
Service is super friendly and attentive.
It my new regular when I fly out of Terminal B. Also has great views of Flushing Bay and the Main Fountain!“

“The portions here are huge! For the noodle soup, you can actually see them hand pulling the noodles to order, which is pretty rare these days since most places use machines instead. Hand pulled noodles just have that perfect chewy texture.
The beef malatang is really good too. As for the scallion pancakes, they’re a bit too oily for my taste. The environment isn’t the cleanest since everything is self-service, but overall, the food definitely makes up for it.“

“If I moved into this neighborhood, this would be a dietary staple food for me.
Noodles are made and cooked in front of you, the menu is simple to understand and order prices is old school and cash only, which is a throwback I didn't realize I missed so much.
As part of the food court, the cafeteria seating is wonderful, allowing for different groups and people to share the same table.
The food, though? Noodles were incredibly light yet had a satisfying chew. The dumplings were delightful, absorbing the flavors of the broth while also maintaining their own strong identity (if I could buy this as a standalone, there would be no doubt what lunch looked like on the weekend), and the broth was a welcome almost herbal experience featuring some cilantro and scallions.“

“We had a fantastic experience at Ditmar’s Thai in Astoria, New York. The food was absolutely delicious and truly authentic Thai cuisine.
My son Allen ordered the crispy duck, which was perfectly cooked and full of flavor. I ordered the whole fried red snapper with coconut sauce, and it was outstanding. Everything tasted fresh and of very high quality.
The wine was also delicious and paired beautifully with the meal. Our waiter was excellent very attentive, friendly, and genuinely made sure we were enjoying our dinner.
The prices are fabulous for the quality of food and service. We will definitely be coming back many more times. Highly recommended!“

“This Taiwanese restaurant might be one of the most delicious and authentic places in NYC. It is so delicious. My family got the beef noodle soup, pork chop rice, popcorn chicken, fried ribs, and stinky tofu. Not only are the portions huge, but the flavor is genuinely unbeatable.
Even though the wait is long, every minute is worth it. Once you taste the meal, you’ll understand. Paying with cash you get a 5% discount! Only ~$70 before tip for a bunch of food!“

“Checked out this Korean spot over the weekend. The service was great, though the menu is pretty limited.
I tried the beef bulgogi soft tofu stew, but the veggies inside were bitter, which made the whole thing taste bitter. I let our server know, and they kindly took it off the bill.
On the bright side, the seafood pancake was amazing and had so much seafood in it! I really appreciated how they handled everything, so I’d still recommend giving them a try.“

“Really enjoyed the food here and it was so good. We got the pork cutlet which was really crispy and the portion sizes were huge. The bulgogi kimbap was really juicy and practically melts in your mouth. The pricing was really fair and the total was about 40 bucks. The food came out fast and it was really fresh.“

“Been here twice now and I'm kicking myself for not having come to this spot earlier during my time living in Jamaica, NY. Both times they have been awesome. No frills, no pizazz.... For this place, you probably will not eat at the restaurant. Not really a sit-down place although they have some tables and chairs. Who cares. The dumpling are ABSOLUTELY amazing and fresh. Homemade! My favorite dumplings are the basil chicken dumplings. My wife really likes the shrimp dumplings (both fried). We had the sesame pancakes with beef and they are just heaven. Very good all around.
Order for pickup as it will take a bit since they make them on the spot. I will be including photos my next trip since I've been unable to avoid tearing into my food before taking photos.“

“Really enjoyed the food here! The seitan was handmade and had such a great chewy texture—it was honestly one of my favorite parts of the meal. As someone from Shanxi, I’m pretty picky about noodles, and I have to say the biangbiang noodles were really good! The noodles were thick, chewy, and full of flavor. Definitely a great place to get authentic Northwestern Chinese-style noodles. I would definitely come back!“

“Four Four South Village is a Taiwanese restaurant in Flushing focused on comforting noodle dishes and classic Taiwanese flavors. The space has a casual, approachable feel that makes it an easy spot for a satisfying meal, especially when craving a warm bowl of beef noodle soup. The menu covers familiar Taiwanese favorites, with the beef noodles being the main draw alongside a variety of appetizers and rice dishes.
The beef noodle soup stood out with a rich, savory broth and tender braised beef that paired well with the chewy noodles. The portion felt filling, and the balance of flavors made it a comforting dish rather than something overly heavy. I also tried some of the smaller dishes, including the popcorn chicken, which had a crisp exterior with juicy pieces inside, along with other Taiwanese-style appetizers that added variety to the meal.
Service was generally efficient, and the restaurant works well for both quick lunches and casual dinners. While Flushing has plenty of Taiwanese and Chinese food options, Four Four South Village offers a reliable choice for Taiwanese comfort food, especially if you are specifically looking for beef noodle soup. Overall, it is a solid spot for familiar Taiwanese dishes with generous portions and a relaxed atmosphere.“
