“I ordered the mala flavor and subbed the intestines for fatty beef and asked for no lettuce. Soup was super flavorful and lots of topping (enoki, silky tofu skin, a quail egg, and woodear mushroom).
Although you can get a tofu pudding for a review, they do not request you to give full stars, just have to write feedback.“

“OMG!! I stumbled upon this hidden gem;
I was first greeted with a very welcoming approach so, asked for a recommendation and was not disappointed. I ordered the Braised Beef Noodle Soup. It was so delicious and yummy. I give this noodle house a 10 out of 10. I’m definitely coming back, and you should try it too.“

“Four Four South Village in Bayside on Bell Blvd is so new, I literally had to put it on the map! They have a restaurant in Flushing and also a location in Canada. I stopped in for dinner and ordered the spicy beef noodle (#204) and the Taiwanese sausage. Service is great! Very friendly and attentive. They checked up on me and kept my tea cup full. My order came out quickly. The sausage was pan fried and had the perfect crisp to the casing and also came with a small side of pickled cucumber. I opted for a non broth noodle dish which has bok choy to the side, slices of tender beef and the chili sauce poured over. You need to mix everything together which allows you to control the amount of sauce to your liking. The noodles were cooked perfectly and had a nice chew to them. Really good food!
Also tried the beef and tendon noodle soup. This beef, tendon & noodle soup is a great combination and tastes delicious! I devoured the bowl and could have had another bowl.“

“I've eaten here a lot thru out the years.When I was younger. The quality of food and the service has never waivered..Sure influencers can tell you all the trendy spots but sometimes you just want to go to a place to eat a good meal without all the hype and fanfair. There is street parking.“

“Really good Chinese takeout spot. Everything tasted fresh and flavorful. We ordered the General Tso’s chicken, crabmeat rangoon, chicken with mixed vegetables, egg rolls, and steamed chicken dumplings and were happy with all of it.
The General Tso’s had a great balance of sweet and a little heat, and the chicken was crispy without being too heavy. The crabmeat rangoon was nice and crispy with a creamy filling, and the egg rolls were solid and crunchy. The steamed chicken dumplings were also really good and tasted fresh.
Overall, a really satisfying meal with generous portions and fresh flavors. Definitely a good spot for casual Chinese takeout.“

“Absolutely delicious food. I got the chicken and broccoli with white rice, and it was cooked perfectly—fresh, flavorful, and just the right amount of sauce. Everything tasted clean and high quality. Definitely one of the better Chinese spots I’ve been to. Will be coming back for sure!“

“Been coming here for decades. If you are Korean and a NewYorker there is a 90% chance you know of this place. Classic Korean black noodle spot that doesn’t disappoint! They make less than 12 dishes here and they do it well! Not much more to say. Big space, lots of seats and chill vibes. Totally biased but maybe the single most know korean restaurant in nyc? Who knows but Enjoy!“

“Dim sum is authentic Cantonese style with push carts. There’s a good variety of dim sum and you can order dishes from the kitchen too. Service is friendly but not the most attentive, which a not unusual for dim sum houses. There’s a parking lot with about 15 spots and there’s street parking. We went on a weekday at noon and it was crowded. They have private rooms downstairs and a glass enclosed section near the front that fits two large round tables and a small 4 top.“

“Recently tried out Happy Garden in Bayside for takeout, and every dish tasted delicious.
The beef chow fun was a standout wide rice noodles stir-fried with tender beef, onions, scallions, and bean sprouts, coated in a soy-based sauce and infused with wok hei, that smoky flavor prized in Cantonese cooking. Chow fun has long roots in Cantonese street food culture, where rice noodles became a staple for being hearty, affordable, and versatile.
The fish fillet and tofu casserole came with tender fish, silken tofu, green beans, and scallions in a rich brown sauce. Traditionally, this kind of casserole is served sizzling in a clay pot ,a cooking vessel that has been part of Chinese kitchens for centuries, known for holding heat and allowing flavors to meld. Even in a takeout container, the sauce soaked beautifully into the tofu and vegetables, making it hearty, savory, and deeply comforting.
The boiled chicken with scallion and ginger was clean, tender, and aromatic. This dish reflects Cantonese and Hainanese traditions of poaching chicken to preserve its natural flavor. What makes it special is the dipping sauce of minced scallion, ginger, and hot oil, which enhances the delicacy of the meat without overpowering it.
To end the meal, the complimentary red bean dessert soup (紅豆沙) was a lovely touch. This sweet soup has been enjoyed for centuries across Chinese households and banquets, prized for being nourishing yet light. Its smooth sweetness balanced out the savory dishes perfectly.“

“Excellent dining experience! The fish was incredibly fresh, and the flavors were authentic. Portions are generous, and there are plenty of options, including great value set meals. The hand-pulled noodles were outstanding—fresh, chewy, and full of flavor. The service was excellent as well. The staff were attentive, friendly, and offered helpful recommendations. Definitely a place I’ll come back to!“
