Solid, classic Chinese comfort food. The Fish Fillet Home Style and Double Cooked Pork (lechon-style pork belly with veggies in brown sauce) are always crowd-pleasers, even with the kids. They do Hot & Sour Soup right, and we always order the garlic snow pea leaves and pan-fried noodles. The crispy garlic chicken was a pleasant surprise too.

Staff are friendly and quick, and the place is clean. Reliable, tasty, and great for group dining.“

“I came here to leave a review thinking there will high rated reviews but surprised to see the ratings but BEST CHINESE TAKE OUT in Fresh Meadows. Hands down. Never had any problems or customer service yet. Lady up front is nice, no fuss. I order and pay and go. Simple as that.“

“It’s new soon. I discovered it when I walked in and sat down. The tea was pretty good! Then I ordered a bowl of locomotive’s soup, which was good and ok! I had a pork chop that tasted OK but the meat was a little thin, and a shrimp roll. I had a great time eating! It was great not to have to go to Flushing to be crowded!“

“10/10. The service & food was sooo good! Everything’s made fresh. The place is super clean. I’m shocked to see such poor reviews. I’m pretty picky about Chinese food too. I got the Mongolian beef with vegetable fried rice, hot & sour soup, chicken & broccoli with white rice, fried shrimp & beef lo mein. It also came with an egg roll. Total was $50. I decided to try a bunch of everything and it was so good! The beef lo mein was the only dish I could go without ordering again, everything else was so good. The meats in each dish are so tender and extremely flavorful. Also the person at the front was super nice and he was explaining the menu special items to me, as well as their flavor profiles. Personally, I’ll be coming back. :)“

“Really shockingly good Sichuan food. The mala flavor was really delightful, it was really pleasantly numbing and incredibly flavorful. We got the dry pot baby rib and kung pao chicken lunch specials and both were quite excellent. The kung pao chicken really stood out to me as being particularly flavorful and nicely spiced. The interior of the resturant was also gorgeous and not too busy during lunch hours.“
