“We have been long customers for this establishment. Their food quality went up so their prices as well. Besides the cost their food was good and the service was quick and customer friendly. If you're around the neighborhood, check this place. Better come during their "lunch special" (check the picture) hours to get a better deal.“

“One of the best Chinese restaurants I’ve been to! The food was incredibly fresh, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. Every dish came out hot and beautifully presented, especially the dumplings and fried rice. The staff was welcoming, attentive, and made the whole experience even better. The atmosphere was clean, cozy, and perfect for both family dinners and casual nights out. Great portions, fair prices, and authentic taste — I’ll definitely be coming back. Highly recommend to anyone craving amazing Chinese food!“

“Everything was great. The food was clean, fresh and tasty. The inside of the place didn't look great and I didn't see the cooks but I have no complaints about the food. I'd definitely go back. They have a new customer!thankss“

“I always loved the soul warming Chinese cuisine from NYC the past 40 years.
I am back in my city from wondering around the world and always so thrilled to find an old time Chinese eatery. Yesterday I stopped for the first time at The Golden Fountain Kitchen located in private nook. I was in Chinese heaven. The food was fantastic and the owner was so friendly, polite and so welcoming. There is a very comfortable seating area. The atmosphere is serene and pleasant. This is my place to eat and also feed my soul. 𝓣𝓱𝓪𝓷𝓴 𝔂𝓸𝓾 🙏“

“What a treasure! Everything we ate here was amazing, the lightest scallion pancake ever, the spiciest soft shell crab, tea smoked duck that was like the best Carolina barbecue ever. The bean curd with pepper oil. All of it. Cocktails were banging too. And the servers were all fantastic too. Even the ink was top shelf!“

“This place changed my life. I first moved to the neighborhood in 2022, I was scared, young, nervous, but ready for the big city. Thankfully The Handpulled Noodle was there to give me the vitamins and minerals I needed to work without end for my dear landlord. The Handpulled Noodle was there for me when nobody was. When you’re looking for insanely good noodles to eat, look no further. P.S. try the mango tea.“

“We have been coming to Birds of a Feather for unbeatably delicious Sichuan food for years, and recently had our engagement party in the main room. We can't praise the event team, kitchen, and bar staff enough! The food was exceptional as always, and the service was wonderfully attentive and gracious. Plenty of options for vegetarian friends as well. Will continue to come back to Birds any time we want a perfect meal.“

“Such a unique atmosphere - you feel like you’re transported to a wee traditional chinese village. The soup base is one of the best mala soup base out there. The meat selection is premium, would recommend the milky beef and streaky pork, black tofu, lotus root. Amazing, attentive servers. Absolute favourite place to be when in town. Can be abit of a wait but totally worth it“

“I was there at Jian Nan Syosset, Long Island. Everything went great!! But, those took the orders needed to be more educated to understand each dishes. We were a fairly larger group than standard party size. Some dished were small and some dim sum served with small quantities, like 3 or 4. Those who order for the large group, should give suggestion to order multiple orders for the same dish. So, each one in the group can have at least one.“

“My girlfriend and I came here to celebrate a special occasion. They have a good happy hour and the service was fantastic. They are super friendly and attentive. The fried rice is awesome and the general tso’s chicken was delicious, with portions so big that we took home leftovers. If I could recommend one thing it would be the fried dumplings appetizer, best I’ve ever had in NYC. We will be back soon!“

“Check out my I G lawyer.traveler.dreamer for more footage of our experience. Bodai in Midtown Manhattan offers a rare and memorable dining experience. The restaurant blends Buddhist philosophy with royal vegetarian cuisine inspired by the Qing Palace. It was my first time trying a full vegetarian tasting menu, and I was impressed by how flavorful and creative every dish was. The mushroom dishes stood out the most, especially the Stichotas japonicus with cucumber sauce, the pan-seared boletus with green millet, and the Nepal mushroom quinoa with pepper sauce. Each course felt balanced and intentional—low oil, low sugar, and focused on natural taste. Even traditional dishes like Buddha Jumps Over the Wall and zhajiang noodles were reimagined beautifully. The dessert, called “Nectar of the Core,” was light and refreshing. Dining at Bodai feels like a calm, thoughtful journey through color, texture, and flavor. If you’re looking for an elevated vegetarian meal in NYC, this is worth a visit.“

Definitely a place I’ll come back to!“

“The owner and his son are the highlight of my experience here. The son is so much fun to talk to and is one of the best people to have in a service industry. He helped us know what to avoid given my wife’s dietary restrictions and also made an extra effort to make dumplings that could match her restrictions.
The food has so much wonderful spice. Their mount Qi noodles are such a highlight on any cold day and it’s one of the reasons I went there 4 times across two weeks“

“Such a nice homey meal. The mapo tofu and garlic eggplant (both with beef) were so flavorful and well-made. The drinks are made in-house as well and were delicious. We came in around ~5:30pm and there was not wait although it’s a relatively small space. At 7pm it was full. The peppercorn ice cream was a highlight because it’s a flavor I haven’t seen or tried before in ice cream, you can feel the warmth of the spice without the actual spiciness! It was delightful. The service was kind and food came out fast. Overall, great experience! Very satisfied“

“We ordered the Sauerkraut Fish and liked it. The broth was tangy with a little spice, and the fish was tender. Portion was big — enough for two. Price was reasonable, around $15–20 per person. Service was fast and friendly. Nothing fancy, but a solid place if you're craving Chinese food late.“
“great spot in LIC for authentic & delicious sichuan/hunan food! liam was our server & recommended the changsha spiced chicken and it was a hit! kevin, our bartender, let us sample his rosemary infused tequila, and it was the perfect way to the the meal. will definitely come back the next time i’m in the area :)“

“Ji Bei Chuan is my go-to hidden gem in Flushing. Both dry-tossed and soup rice noodles are fantastic: the Family Combo dry noodles are coated in rich savory sauce, the beef brisket noodle soup has a deep hearty broth, the pickled vegetable fish noodle is bright and appetizing, and the premium fish maw bowl is loaded with quality ingredients. Sides, grilled gluten and crispy juicy tofu are also amazing — perfect with noodles or beer. Highly recommend!“

“Great food and good prices for lunch. Stopped here one day when I was nearby.
The sesame balls here are so good!!! For catering we got veggie low mein, braised pork, bunch of different potstickers, sesame balls, and everything comes with cutlery if needed. They clearly label everything and the packaging is great because they seal all the containers so they don’t spill and the food came warm to eat. 👏🫶🤤
FYI there’s great catering here too! They offer delivery and have a great setup for any event. Will post pics of the catering if I can find them.“

“I recently visited Song Lai Xiang, and it was one of the best Yanbian-style BBQ experiences I’ve had in New York.
The skewers were fresh, well-seasoned, and grilled perfectly. The rotating grill made the meal both fun and effortless, so everyone could relax and enjoy the food without constantly turning the skewers. Beyond the BBQ, the authentic Northeastern Chinese dishes were also excellent and full of flavor.“

The food was packed with flavor and definitely impressed the whole table.
Lamb and beef kebabs were well spiced; Glass noodles in sesame sauce were a surprising hit—everyone at the table loved them!
The BBQ lamb rack was a standout: incredibly tender, juicy, and full of flavor.
Great place for group gatherings or casual dining. I’d definitely come back!“

“Absolutely loved this meal! The green pepper fish was fresh and tender, with a rich, tangy broth and a wonderful peppery aroma. The fish slices were delicate and soaked up all the flavors beautifully. The spicy beef was another highlight, packed with bold chili flavor and topped generously with scallions. The beef was tender, juicy, and incredibly satisfying with rice. Both dishes had completely different flavor profiles, so they complemented each other perfectly. Portions were very generous and everything arrived fresh and beautifully presented. A fantastic choice for anyone who enjoys flavorful Sichuan-style dishes. I would definitely order again!“

“Tender kung pao chicken + crunchy peanuts and snappy green beans. Everything was perfect. Not an obscene amount of dried red chiles. Wait staff was patient and had good sense of timing. 稔is a meaningful name, made me feel abundant even if the space was simple and bare.“

“Probably not the most appealing picture however this is a place I have been wanting to visit for a while. I paid in cash as I had seen many people mention the possibility of no cards being used, so I don't know if the service is available or not. It is a very small store. So there is not an area to eat.
The workers are very kind when I ordered the Jianbing, offering suggestions if you ask. You can add beef to it which I believe is an additional cost.
As for the jianbing, it is savory with hints of sweetness and delicious. It has added texture from the cracker inside which compliments the fluffy egg and crepe. The sweetness also helps balance the beef, which is very tender so it doesn't take too much effort to chew. The added cilantro and scallions gives a bit of freshness as you eat the crepe.
It is very hot when you receive it so I would recommend eating it as soon as possible so that the cracker does not get soft.
I look forward to the next time I can eat this again 😊“
