Based on the reviews, Hunan Noodle is a hole in the wall spot in the corner of Flushing. It is hard to see from the street because it is upstairs and down the hall. The restaurant is clean and cozy. The Hunan-style rice noodles are authentic and full of flavor—spicy, savory, and incredibly satisfying. The broth is rich and fragrant, and the noodles have a perfect chewy texture. The beef noodle soup with flat noodles and chilis is pretty good, with beef that is particularly good, well seasoned and moist. Portions are generous, and the price is very reasonable for NYC. There is a free noodle refill. The steam rice ball is a nice break from all the spice. The staff are friendly and helpful, and the food comes out quickly. There is a language barrier with the staff, but they pump out tons of dishes in minutes. 15% gratuity is automatic. Credit card and Apple Pay are accepted. A bathroom is available.
