The stir-fried jasmine flower buds with scrambled eggs were delicate and floral, and the cold rice noodle salad with peanut sauce and chili oil was refreshing and perfectly balanced. The ambiance is gorgeous too, with lots of dark wood and warm lighting.“

“Such a great little spot. The restaurant is clean and lovingly decorated, with photos of the staff and (I assume) their family and friends along one wall. A karaoke machine sits in one corner, which makes me think this is a place where happy memories have been made. The kung po chicken is vivid and flavorful, I loved how tender the chicken was and the sichuan numbing spice never disappoints. The wood ear mushroom appetizer was delightfully crunchy and soaked in a lightly spiced garlic and cilantro sauce. I loved how flakey and flavorful the scallion pancake was. I grabbed a yogurt drink and found it to be very yummy, lightly sweetened with matcha and fruity flavors. Whatever else they were cooking, everything on other peoples tables, all of it smelled and looked so good! Familial, vibrant, and simply delicious.“

“Usually when we want good Northeastern Chinese food, we have to drive all the way to Flushing, so it is nice to have this place much closer to us. The food was really good and had the flavor we were looking for. We liked the sweet and sour fish, crispy pork, eggplant with minced pork, and sour cabbage vermicelli. Northeastern food can be a little heavy and oily, so it’s not something we eat all the time, but when we’re craving it, this is definitely a place we’d come back to.“

“Probably not the most appealing picture however this is a place I have been wanting to visit for a while. I paid in cash as I had seen many people mention the possibility of no cards being used, so I don't know if the service is available or not. It is a very small store. So there is not an area to eat.

The workers are very kind when I ordered the Jianbing, offering suggestions if you ask. You can add beef to it which I believe is an additional cost.

As for the jianbing, it is savory with hints of sweetness and delicious. It has added texture from the cracker inside which compliments the fluffy egg and crepe. The sweetness also helps balance the beef, which is very tender so it doesn't take too much effort to chew. The added cilantro and scallions gives a bit of freshness as you eat the crepe.

It is very hot when you receive it so I would recommend eating it as soon as possible so that the cracker does not get soft.

We chose udon noodles instead of rice, and it was absolutely the right choice. The thick chewy noodles soaked up all that flavorful coconut chicken broth beautifully. Every bite felt warm, silky, fresh, and incredibly satisfying.

They also have a sauce bar available if you want to customize your dipping sauces, though it does come at an additional charge. “Flushing has plenty of chinese food for sure, but I came to Flushing specifically to find uyghur food as you can't really find this type of cuisine in the US. And the food simply blew me away. I dont know how they make the lamb polo but that is probably one of the best rice dishes ive ever had. The lamb was so tender and rice was so flavourful. And the 烤包 (kao bao) was amazing too as it was filled w juicy sweet onions and beef. Absolutely great meal and Im glad I came here.“
