A karaoke machine sits in one corner, which makes me think this is a place where happy memories have been made. The kung po chicken is vivid and flavorful, I loved how tender the chicken was and the sichuan numbing spice never disappoints. The wood ear mushroom appetizer was delightfully crunchy and soaked in a lightly spiced garlic and cilantro sauce. I loved how flakey and flavorful the scallion pancake was. I grabbed a yogurt drink and found it to be very yummy, lightly sweetened with matcha and fruity flavors. Whatever else they were cooking, everything on other peoples tables, all of it smelled and looked so good! Familial, vibrant, and simply delicious.“

“I've been eating at Golden Garden for so long I've forgotten just how many years it's been. The food is exceptional. The father does the cooking and the son and daughter do everything else. My favorites are the Chicken and veggies with Brown Sauce and the Chicken and veggies with Black Bean Sauce. It is a Take-Out only. What makes it so outstanding is the consistency of the food. “I was there at Jian Nan Syosset, Long Island. Everything went great!! But, those took the orders needed to be more educated to understand each dishes. We were a fairly larger group than standard party size. Some dished were small and some dim sum served with small quantities, like 3 or 4. Those who order for the large group, should give suggestion to order multiple orders for the same dish. So, each one in the group can have at least one.“

“Been here a few times. Best skewer place in this area or matter of fact anywhere near here outside of Flushing. Food is always fresh and good and service is great. The 2+1 specials on the drinks with soju and beer is awesome. The place looks very clean and new. Very roomy as well where you’re not crowded with other customers and AC works great during hot weather.

This trip we had the pig head salad along with assortment of skewers. All amazing. The meat with salad was so refreshing.

They also gave us this entire dish of crabs for $1!!! It was so good as well.“
