Our waiters, Adi and Justin were friendly and professional. I read so many reviews that the wait staff was rude and cold. Don’t believe it for one second. All the waiters were attentive and checked to see how everything was going. Don’t miss the apple strudel and schlag. I’d give Peter Luger’s ten stars if I could. Can’t wait to return.“

“Such a great little spot. The restaurant is clean and lovingly decorated, with photos of the staff and (I assume) their family and friends along one wall. A karaoke machine sits in one corner, which makes me think this is a place where happy memories have been made. The staff were super kind, they were out of some things I wanted but I was really happy with everything I got instead. The kung po chicken is vivid and flavorful, I loved how tender the chicken was and the sichuan numbing spice never disappoints. The wood ear mushroom appetizer was delightfully crunchy and soaked in a lightly spiced garlic and cilantro sauce. I loved how flakey and flavorful the scallion pancake was. I grabbed a yogurt drink and found it to be very yummy, lightly sweetened with matcha and fruity flavors. Whatever else they were cooking, everything on other peoples tables, all of it smelled and looked so good! Familial, vibrant, and simply delicious.“

“Usually when we want good Northeastern Chinese food, we have to drive all the way to Flushing, so it is nice to have this place much closer to us. The food was really good and had the flavor we were looking for. We liked the sweet and sour fish, crispy pork, eggplant with minced pork, and sour cabbage vermicelli. Northeastern food can be a little heavy and oily, so it’s not something we eat all the time, but when we’re craving it, this is definitely a place we’d come back to.“

“The quality of food is truly so good. Hand rolls are stuffed and each bite of fish is so buttery and fresh. I couldn’t really taste the difference between sushi places until coming here and now I can’t go back. Chef kama and chef komodo’s craftsmanship shows. For kitchen entrees, there hasn’t been one thing I’ve tried that’s bad and just a great variety of selection. I’d definitely come any days besides Saturdays or at least before 8pm on Sat to avoid the rush.“
