“AWESOME KOREAN RESTAURANT IN LONG ISLAND: I’m not a foodie and I don’t think I’ve ever posted about restaurants (but I am Korean) - I have to make an exception for this place. Yes, this restaurant is on Long Island, but the Korean food EXCELLENT (better than lots of places in Flushing) and service is OUTSTANDING. Every dish we’ve tried so far (짜장면, 순두부찌개, 육개장, 제육덮밥) has been so amazing, delicious, and authentic (especially the spices!!!). If you’re ever in the area, please stop in and eat here. It’s crazy awesome! Thanks to my friend for encouraging me to try at a Korean restaurant that is not in Queens. My family will be forever grateful - five stars and 2 thumbs way up from me and my family members. :)“

“Stopped by Grillmark for the first time and had a great experience. The space is clean, modern, and has a relaxed feel that fits perfectly with the whole fresh and healthy concept. The service is great.

We tried a variety of items starting with the Healthy Glow and Green Machine which were both refreshing and a great way to start. The Italian market salad was loaded and really filling, and the Greek salad had all the classics done right. We also had the Mexican salad in a pita which was fresh and something a little different.

For mains, the turkey burger and salmon burger were both solid, clean options that still delivered. The buffalo chicken sandwich added a nice kick. The house made gyro chicken with tzatziki kept things simple and fresh.

We also tried an assortment of skewers including steak, pork, chicken, lamb chops, salmon, shrimp, and swordfish which gave a great mix of everything. The side of house made quinoa tied it all together nicely.

Overall, a great spot if you’re looking for clean, fresh, and filling meals made with quality ingredients. Definitely worth checking out“

“Since moving to Va from NY, I always have made a stop to pick up bagels for the way home. This is by far my favorite place! I order the day before and my bagels are fresh warm and packed in freezer bags ready to go. They freeze great and toast up fresh! And always get my favorite salt bagel with veggie cream cheese to go! I love their veggie cream cheese because the veggies are not shredded. My granddaughter loves the iced coffee, it’s amazing! The place is clean and the staff are personable and quick in getting your order ready. I’m on the train now heading home eating now. Until December ...“

“The food was very amazing.We got the Thali was very good and got chola bhatura as well. Bhatura are made in south India style, i'm for sure the place is tight and smaller. “My goodness, we recently moved into the neighborhood and we have tried a few sushi joints in the past couple of months. We have tried Mr. J's several time and I must say, it's probably the best sushi in the area. The quality of the ingredients is very good, extremely fresh, they use very little rice so you can actually taste the ingredients, and they roll the sushi really tightly so that it doesn't fall apart if you breathe a little too close.

The owners are extremely friendly, the restaurant clearly focuses on the quality of their takeout since they don't have any tables, which is great because they can focus on cranking out bags and bags of orders. The more you order, they give you free rolls which is really nice. Even my kid, who is a little picky, crushes his spicy kani rolls, not a single grain of rice left, which makes me really happy. Nothing fancy, but they consistently serve great quality food and service with a friendly smile. Can't ask for anything more.

Danny worked with us to create a menu that was tailored to us and our guests and we got SO much food included in the package we did. He also worked with us to create table arrangements that worked best for our event. I was worried at first that the space only being partially private and not a true private room would be an issue but it was not at all! We really didn’t need it and were happy to still get to enjoy the Sinatra singer that plays for the restaurant that night.
