“This place is 🔥 has the best tasting food in all of great neck! It’s a take out deli kind of place with lots of different types of Spanish food. I ordered oxtail stew with roasted pork, and a side of shrimp salad/ceviche (the texture and flavors are on point). High quality food, good tasting, cooked with a lot of heart! The kind the your grandma makes. They even make the hot sauce in house… I really liked the mild green one, but the red spicy one is great as well! I think they do catering as well… I’m super excited about this find!“

“We enjoyed another wonderful meal at Soku tonight for Valentine’s Day. Ivan was a wonderful host and introduced us to some delightful eats including crispy beef and yellowtail sashimi. Very nice crowd and ambience including vibey music to make it fun. Soku is a top destination in great neck, for good reason. You should go! ♥️“

“The place is simple and unpretentious. The Persian soups are delicious. The cake was amazing. Owners are hard working, older generation and old fashioned but they certainly know how to bake. They custom designed a cake for me with an amazing decoration. The cake tasted fresh five full days after the purchase. It was rich and delicious. I highly recommend it.“

The service was a bit uneven, but that could be due to the VOLUME of the crowd! Yet fair warning... It is LOUD-- to the point where you can hear everyone else's conversation but yours😂 However... it's definitely worth the trip-- Make certain to try the Milano-- 2 poached eggs on an English muffin with basil, prosciutto and hollandaise sauce. Waffles N Sip Cafe is an absolute hidden gem! The Belgian waffles were perfectly fluffy, fresh, and delicious. Their specialty lattes are truly unique and full of flavor—the Lotus Latte is an absolute must-try and was one of the best specialty coffee drinks I’ve had.

The atmosphere is welcoming, the food is delectable, and the service was wonderful. If you’re looking for a great brunch spot with amazing waffles and creative coffee selections, I highly recommend Waffles N Sip Cafe.

“Ordered for the first time last night, they were super accommodating since we called at 8:45 and they close at 9:00…. They made us 5 pies and I’m was so appreciative. They were so nice and even recommended one which I absolutely loved (with potatoes!) we can’t wait to go back but to eat there so we get the Pizza Hut out of the oven! Amazing owners and such a delight to have in valley steam!! The owner explained the ingredients and concept to my husband and his friend. They can’t back telling us so about it!“

“I go every Monday with my husband , we love this place , the front guy desk with glasses I don’t know his name but he is so amazing he is one of the kind me and my husband loves going there because of how he is treating us nice and good customer service , my husband is a police officer and I’m a teacher so we only get 1 once a week to go on a date and every week on Monday we go to curry N wok because it’s so awesome , the food so amazing too , customer service amazing , I love the DoSa , pakora with their amazing tea , also their sambar Veda super super amazing , this place it’s my go to . “Hosted our wedding rehearsal dinner here and we are SO glad did - everything was perfect! Everyone could not get over how delicious all the food was. Danny worked with us to create a menu that was tailored to us and our guests and we got SO much food included in the package we did. He also worked with us to create table arrangements that worked best for our event. I was worried at first that the space only being partially private and not a true private room would be an issue but it was not at all! We really didn’t need it and were happy to still get to enjoy the Sinatra singer that plays for the restaurant that night. He even came over and sang for our party and had us dance which was not expected but a fun surprise that we loved! Overall we had a great event here and I am so happy we chose them to host it!“

“As a local, I truly consider this coffee shop one of the sweetest gems in our community. I recently had a little Galentine’s get-together here, and it couldn’t have been more perfect. The family who runs it is incredibly kind and accommodating.

The coffee shop is decorated so pretty. We loved everything we tried, but the cookie butter latte and banana oat latte were definite favorites! The food was also good!
