Ordered general Tso's chicken. Very flavorful. Love how Keilly's maintains the traditional Chinese chili spice and chili oil. Not spicy at all, but it adds a unique traditional chinese flavor mixed with the American flavor. Out of my 20 yrs eating chinese food in queens, I've never tasted general tso's chicken that does it right. I have tried soho china town chinese food, but keilly's is different. You get a good balanced of the spice flavor throughout unlike other places where they throw a piece of 1 inch chili. Chicken is not undercooked, not over cooked very delicious.“

“I eat here quite a bit since it’s local and affordable, other chinese spots around the flushing/whitestone area tend to be pricier, so if you’re looking for good chinese food for a good price with speedy service, this is the place for that. My go to is usually the special combination platter which gives you a choice of an entree (they list which ones apply to the lunch special platter), pork fried rice and a choice of soup, egg roll or canned soda all for around 13-15 bucks. I usually get the soup with it so the meal is more filling. Also pretty good dumplings, not too doughy like other places i’ve been to around here.“

“I was there at Jian Nan Syosset, Long Island. Everything went great!! But, those took the orders needed to be more educated to understand each dishes. We were a fairly larger group than standard party size. Some dished were small and some dim sum served with small quantities, like 3 or 4. Those who order for the large group, should give suggestion to order multiple orders for the same dish. So, each one in the group can have at least one.“

“My God… Chongqing Lao Zao might be the best Chinese hot pot I’ve ever had. And if you’ve seen my other reviews, you know I’ve eaten at A LOT of hot pot places. 😂 This one seriously impressed me.

The entrance is actually pretty small and very easy to miss, but once you walk through that door… WOW. It feels like you just stepped into a Chinese palace. The decorations, the details, the atmosphere—everything is beautiful. Before we even started eating, I was already walking around looking at everything.

Then there’s the service. Next level. The servers were so attentive that they basically wouldn’t let us lift a finger. 😂 Plates cleared, broth checked, food taken care of—they were always there without making us feel rushed. That kind of service really changes the whole experience.

And of course, the hot pot itself was incredible. Rich, authentic flavors and exactly what I want when I’m craving real Chinese hot pot. Great food is one thing, but when you combine it with this atmosphere and this level of service, it becomes an experience.

I review a lot of hot pot restaurants and usually can find at least one thing I would change. This time, I really can’t.

Everything we ate was handmade in house - including the pineapple cakes pictured here. “This is a nice restaurant that has traditional Hunan, Sichuan, and Chinese American Cuisine. The restaurant itself is absolutely beautiful and very early 1900’s style Chinese restaurant fashion almost like being in San Francisco.. The food is very good. The staff is very nice. The portions are just great. On the more expensive side to bring your credit cards 💳. It’s like taking a history lesson in Chinese food in America. Give this place to try if you’re in the area we will definitely be going back.“

“Been here a few times. Best skewer place in this area or matter of fact anywhere near here outside of Flushing. Food is always fresh and good and service is great. The 2+1 specials on the drinks with soju and beer is awesome. The place looks very clean and new. Very roomy as well where you’re not crowded with other customers and AC works great during hot weather.

This trip we had the pig head salad along with assortment of skewers. All amazing. The meat with salad was so refreshing.

They also gave us this entire dish of crabs for $1!!! It was so good as well.“

“I had a fantastic experience at Young and Rich New York, thanks to our server, Kevin!

Because I have strict dietary needs, I requested my meal with no Monosodium Glutamate, no seafood sauce, no soy sauce, less salt, and less oil. Before taking my order, Kevin went straight to the chef to confirm that the kitchen could accommodate my specific requests.

His attention to detail was incredible throughout the meal. When we ordered the stir-fried water spinach and shredded potatoes, he remembered that the potato dish usually includes dried spicy peppers. Knowing I cannot handle spicy food, he proactively double-checked to ensure the peppers were left out.

Every dish was prepared perfectly, and Kevin made sure I felt completely taken care of from start to finish!“

Both dry-tossed and soup rice noodles are fantastic: the Family Combo dry noodles are coated in rich savory sauce, the beef brisket noodle soup has a deep hearty broth, the pickled vegetable fish noodle is bright and appetizing, and the premium fish maw bowl is loaded with quality ingredients. Sides, grilled gluten and crispy juicy tofu are also amazing — perfect with noodles or beer. Highly recommend!“

It doesn't have fancy decor, nor does it serve mind-blowing dishes with flavors you can't find anywhere else.
However, their food is very wholesome and down-to-earth, without the heavy oils or excessive salt used to aggressively hook a customer's palate.
The prices are also very affordable—I imagine people working nearby frequent this place often.
I'm a delivery truck driver, and whenever I pass through this area, I make sure to stop by.
The elderly owner is Taiwanese and extremely kind, and they also employ some Spanish staff. The overall work atmosphere is wonderful, and I'm certain the owner treats them very well. Dining here gives you a sense of peace that you just can't find anywhere else.
You shouldn't go out of your way just to eat here, but if you happen to be passing by, you definitely have to drop in and check it out.“

“As a person who grew up in Hunan, China which loves rice noodles either with soup or dry stirred. They have decent rice noodles and great flavors. They also let you customize your own taste with spices, chilli oil, sour string beans and more stuff you can add yourself which give the customer lots of freedom while adjusting a flavor that they will like the most.
