“The dishes at Thirty-Seven Lane are very rich and varied, and the vegetables are very fresh. The beef is recommended to be hand-cut beef. It tastes great. The crabs are still alive and delicious. The waiter Xiaokai is great. My friends and I are very happy to have the meal. Thank you San Lane 17“
“One of the best restaurant experiences I have ever had. Easily my favorite restaurant on Long Island. I am a chef and the guy at the table next to me was as well and we were both blown away. My kids (4 years old) loved everything, my mother (pescatarian) couldnt have loved her food more. The drinks were on point and the flavors were beyond compare. Their char sui bao were hands-down the best I have ever had.Vegetarian options: Lots of vegetarian dim sum and a ton of dishes too. Absolutely fantastic vegetarian offerings!Kid-friendliness: My 4 year olds loved the place! The servers were great with them!“
“I'm no expert on Korean food but I do know delicious and this place definitely hit the mark. Upon walking into the place I knew it was going to be a good experience. The staff were super friendly and also helpful with food selection which I needed. The restaurant has a light and airy feel to it with a nice layout with an ability to accommodate smaller groups. The bar seating is a great choice if you're on your own or with a friend. The make all types of cocktails and have a nice selection of beers including some Korean options. The food menu offers some classic Korean dishes from what I learned. I went with the Spicy Squid Bibimbap for my main. Before that came out they brought me a free appetizer which hit the spot. I'm not certain what it all was but I didn't leave much behind. Apparently this is one of three locations. I really hope to be back again in the future. Enjoy!!“
“Great lil Izakaya! The staff are extremely friendly and hospitalable, the food is delicious, the portion sizes are very generous, and a combination can be made if asked in advance.Definitely get the cheese corn and put some sweet soy sauce on it... And ask for the sweet and spicy sauce on the side, it makes any dish 50 times better lol. There's two other locations in New York, apparently one is in Manhattan, I'm not a local so I can't remember where the other location is... Either way I'm coming back to the Flushing location as I just really love the atmosphere, the location, and the staff...If you see the owner, tell them that the Black nerdy girl from Mississauga recommended the place and said to say hi ?“
“Excellent decor, you can miss it from it's non descript exterior but once you walk through the door it opens up into a large space with fully stocked bar and a pleasing aesthetic. The beef tripe in chilli sauce is excellent and my favorite off the menu. They also give generous portions of both food and wine for a great price that doesn't break the bank.“
“The best I have eaten in a long time, since I got Covid I started to have new allergies and had to stop eating sushi. I took a risk and gave them my trust. Incredible, super attentive, good communication, the sushi was fresh. They took all my specifications into account and were very careful about cross contaminationThank you very much I will definitely order again“
“I visit a lot of Korean restaurants, and I'm a fan of stews and cold noodles, and they're good at budae-jjigae. It was the closest to the taste I had in Korea. The interior was clean and had the feel of a cozy cafe. Good luck to you, owner. I'll come back again.“
“Came here on a whim after having a hard time deciding on a place to eat. Best decision ever as everything we ordered was delicious. The service here is great too, they train the staff here well. This spot is now a must visit whenever im in nyc. Go to orders are the Peking duck with the salt and pepper duck bones, preserved ham fried rice and szechuan string beans. Those three dishes are ? ? ?.“
“The squirrel fish is really delicious, you must order it when you come here! ! ! It's so delicious. It's cooked just right, the aroma is overflowing, and the taste is mellow. You can't help but take one bite after another. It's tender and juicy, melts in your mouth, crispy and delicious, and has endless aftertaste.“
“Me and my friend recently dined here and I was pleasantly surprised. We started with the Happy Hour menu and ordered a few appetizers and drinks. The food was nicely seasoned and tasty. We then stayed for our dinner reservation and the food was delicious. We're definitely going back. I highly recommend.“
“Stopped in for a quick takeout order on a weeknight, the staff were very attentive and provided great service.Food:- Kai burger: SO good!! Highly recommend. Really good flavor and ratio of meat and cheese and toppings. Best part of the meal.- onion rings: these were okay, but I think it was due to the delay in getting home and eating them. The sauce was good and and breading indicated they’d be good fresh. Could benefit from having more in the order.- soup dumplings: very tasty, still warm when I got home with them. Had a lot of meat packed in.Had a little mishap with the shrimp dumplings, but the staff was proactive and made the situation right. Food was out quick. Give this place a try if you’ve got a hankering for some comfort food.“
“My Family and I are frequent visitors at Moca, we just love it there, from the food to the service to the atmosphere everything about this is place is a good vibe . If you decide to visit please ask for Pseong, he’s the best waiter there, he’s super nice and extremely friendly, my daughter, boyfriend and I really like when waits on us.“
“My first exposure to Burmese food. I was really excited to try and learn about it. I enjoyed the suggestion from the staff. I'm also vegetarian. I was leaning towards one option, but he highly suggested someone else (the photo I posted and pointing to) and I went with his option.Glad I did. Twas amazing. Something I learned about the cuisine, is that food necessarily won't be piping hot. It's intentional.“
“Today was my birthday and my wife asked me where I wanted to dine out with our two kids. I mentioned a few options, and asked for her thoughts. She mentioned having gong to Yummy Yummy with some of her girl friends recently. I agreed and we headed out there. We arrive about 6:45pm and most Bell Blvd, 48th Ave or adjacent streets surrounding the restaurant are paid metered parking till 7pm Mon thru Sat, and Free Sundays. On the side roads if you walk further you'll notice where the paid metered parking ends there is free public parking. My wife called ahead and made reservations for my birthday for 7pm. In conversation they reserved us half a Hainanese Chicken. That was a good idea because the place was packed at 85% full when we arrived. This evening was cold and a col breeze would rush in when the front door was opened. This restaurant has its own style. It's clean, well lit, ceiling fans in the front half with wood planks hanging vertically evenly space like steps getting lower toward the front of the restaurant. The planks are burnt with texture and they seemed to absorb sound making the restaurant atmosphere less noisy with so many patrons talking - it was comfortable and you could hold a conversation. The tables and chairs were sturdy, clean, and did not rock or creak. The wait staff were courteous and attentive. If you speak Cantonese you'll enjoy your dining experience because my wife conversed with our waitress asking about dishes before we ordered. We ordered the following dishes and am listing them in the order they were served.Roti Pancake - we ordered two which was served with a small bowl of curry chicken with chucks of potato.Cumin Pork Knuckles - served in a plastic basket they were crispy and mouthwatering savory.Fried Beef Chow Fun - my son immediately mentioned the dish had Wok Hei, the beef and noodle was savory.Steak with Back Truffle and Mushrooms - The beef was tender , with thick slices of mushroom and potato, and the truffle infused sauce was delicious.Hainanese Chicken - there was a slight wait on this dish. The check was tender and moist, it was served on a bed of thin sliced cucumber. A sauce tray with four sauces accompanied the chicken adding to the flavor of this dish.* I'd recommend any of the dishes we ordered, but my top favorites were the Chow Fun and Steak.Normally I'd have provide pictures of all our dishes, but the food did not disappoint so I was only able to ask at the last moment my daughter to snap a quick picture of the Hainenese Chicken which I'm still waiting on her to forward to me for this review.Payment - We were told they didn't take Discover, and listed MasterCard or Visa, and cash is king.I gave Yummy Yummy 5 Stars based on the food, service, and atmosphere. There are more and more quality Asian restaurants beyond Manhattan/Chinatown, , Brooklyn/Chinatown, and Flushing/Chinatown. I'd rate it $$, but I'd keep in mind that prices have been rising. *One unofficial litmus test I'd point out is that if an Asian restaurant is patronized by a high number of Asian regularly there is a high chance the food is good.“
“Woooowwwwww…….!!!!!!!Such an amazing place and wonderful staff … and talking about the food which reminds me of the home food and it’s didn’t disappoint at all .. I loved the food so much that we almost ended up ordering so much of food and got full but overall great place and I can say I found a place I can trust around my place to be at.Thank you so much.“
“Fantastic hidden gem of a thai restaurant!Extremely well-lit, clean, and orderly appearing the moment you walk in. This probably isn't the ideal setting if you're looking for a "restaurant style experience", but there are several small tables you can sit down to eat at. It seems the majority of the business is take-out.I have ordered several times in recent weeks. And the food was delicious! I tend to order the spring rolls, as an appetizer, and my favorite dish, Kee Mao with Chicken (this is often known as "Drunken Noodles") as my main course. I have also tried the Pad Thai, and a few other items on the menu.Absolutely tasty, hits the spot, reasonable pricing, and super-quick.One other thing.. and this is the most important; outstanding, incredibly pleasant customer service. I was greeted warmly upon entering, and was thanked very sincerely as I received my order....with a smile. This means alot to me, and helps me decide where to spend my money. They deserve it here.If you're used to ordering Chinese Take-out all the time, and want a real change of pace, make the switch! Give Thai Tai a try!“
“Loved the food! Everything was fresh, hot and delicious! It was a bit dark inside which made it harder to see but all in all the hostess/staff was very attentive even with our big group on a Sunday afternoon! I would definitely be coming back again!“
“The food here was amazing! If you like spice and unique taste then this is it!We had the lamb skewers, samsa, beef stir fry, pearl noodles and more. The lamb skewers were better than the ones you would get at a street cart in downtown Flushing. Definitely coming back!“
“Perfect cute spot for a date night. The sushi rolls are really unique — loved the one with Brussels sprouts on top. The servers are all super helpful with answering questions and giving recommendations. They were also accommodating of my food allergy which I always appreciate. Highly recommend!“
“It's Saturday and decided to bring my wife for a quick date night. The place looks cozy and the food selection looks pretty unique. I had the Wagyu burger while she had the Beef rib with bone marrow. Both food came out good and we will definitely come back.“
“Really enjoyed dining there! This place is a phenomenal Asian restaurant! Nice variety of options and veg options too. The service was super friendly , attentive and thoughtful.Loved the food and experience overall. Definitely worth a visit!“
“This restaurant used to be located more further down on westchester ave. It was called Monte de oro (gold mountain). I used to go there when I was a kid to a teenager. Then, it closed down. Thank god it relocated more up westchester ave. Under the name of el pabellon de oro (the flag of gold) It still had the same waiters & owner so I knew the food would be the same(delicious). It is a Chinese Spanish fusion. My go to dish is the steak w/ shrimp fried rice & plantano maduros(sweet plantains). Staff is ok. I like that the inside has a fish tank. It also has a lobster tank where you pick your own lobster. They had this in the old restaurant. The environment is just ok. I really came for the delicious food!!!“
“Chachawan is an amazing Thai food restaurant you’ll absolutely love! Nancy is so helpful and when I am not sure of what I want to eat, she assisted me in choosing the right meal that never fails! Highly recommend the pineapple chicken. Great customer service from Nancy! You will be very delighted to have her serve you. Highly recommended Chachawan! You’ll never regret it! Amazing Thai food. Thanks Nancy for all your help!“
“Stopped at Mira Sushi on the way to JFK. Atmosphere was great, very welcoming the second you enter, no wait. Menu is extensive, lots of delicious options for food and drink at reasonable prices. Food was absolutely delicious, everything was fresh and tasty. Service was great too. There was never a time where we were waiting to be helped. Employees are very friendly. 10/10 would recommend.“
“This is a cozy Thai restaurant with lovely decor I decided to check out. The food here is very authentic and also very high quality. We tried several items - chicken satay, curry puffs, tom yum soup, duck wrap, and the basil chicken. Everything tasted very fresh and flavorful, with the curry puffs standing out as probably the best selection. The staff was also very friendly and constantly checked up on us. In my opinion, this place and Arunee are the best Thai places in Jackson Heights.“
“What an absolutely fun and incredible experience. The restaurant is very lively, even on a Monday evening in the winter so you can imagine what it would be like in the summer months. A reservation is highly recommended, especially if you want seating at the grill but on off days you shouldn't have a problem with a walk in. Well depending on the group size. The menu is plentiful but simple, so many options to choose from and even good vegetarian options. The servers were very attentive, polite and friendly. The chef was extremely entertaining. You can tell he loves his job to the fullest. First he confirmed everyone's orders so he could prepare them properly and confirm and food allergies. Because I'm allergic to shrimp he cooked my steak first and served it so he could cook everything else without contaminating my food so that was very appreciative. He cooked with style, flair and a huge smile. The guests were very happy with the presentation and cooking. The price may seem high at first glance but you get what you pay for. I ordered the new York steak and it was served with grilled vegetables first then egg fried rice then noodles and then the protein cooked exactly how I wanted it. I was very happy with the overall experience and food and I highly recommend this place to anyone who has never been to a hibachi restaurant.“
“The service is great, the food is delicious and the presentation is even better! I ordered their lunch chicken teriyaki Benton box . A plate like this would cost $35 plus dollars in Manhattan but in Jamaica NY it was less than $20.The picture doesn’t include the Thai tea I ordered and the salad that comes with the bento box.The place is clean and the food presentation is exceptional.“
“Pros: Hostess and waiters were helpful and very attentive! Good and fresh sushi. I also had the rock shrimp appetizer which was really good. The drinks made without sake are good.Cons: The hot chicken wings was not much effort. It’s just fried large wings with Tabasco sauce on the side—if you want wings avoid $12 here and get the Chinese restaurants honey wings instead from any Chinese spot in the area. The drinks made with sake are not well balanced.“
“We returned and the food was just as fresh, delicious and well presented. The highlight of our experience is the service. I wish I knew her name, the front end worker this restaurant is kind, attentive and provides excellent customer service.“
“A typical no-frill, cash only asian establishment in Elmhurst. Just to be clear: this is TAIWANESE restaurant incase their name was clear enough. I’ve been coming to this joint since forever and oh god i miss the old times when i used to live close by and prices were lower. Their dishes have always been excellent and portions are generous. Again, cash-only!“
“I ordered Musubi. It didn’t look like on a picture, but tasted pretty good. Prices inside cheaper then ordering to go (maybe it’s like this everywhere, but that’s what I noticed). I was waiting for a while for my order even though place was not busy. I would come back to try poke bowl if I would be in the area, but wouldn’t drive there just for the food.“
“This is a hidden gem in East Rockaway! The food is delicious. We ordered Kung Po Chicken and Gyoza. The chicken came with rice, wonton soup (so good!) and crackers. The gyoza was awesome. We’d definitely come back and use this place as our go-to restaurant for Asian food in the area.“
“Delicious food. The place looks like a real Japanese restaurant. I ordered a dinner bento and it was so much food and had a delicious miso soup and my boyfriend ordered a dinner meal and it was delicious as well. The service was good, the girl was very attentive and quick. I will eat from here again ?“
“Food was good, drinks were NOT it. However service could have been better. Our sever was pretty rude and made an error with my husbands order then had the audacity to role her eyes once we corrected her. We weren’t rude at all about it. It’s totally ok things happen. But don’t roll your eyes. You work in the service / restaurant industry. Then to top it off they automatically charge 18% tip to your bill. Again totally fine, but I think that’s why we were given poor service as they know they will make their money regardless. This place leaves much to be desired.“
“They season this food crazy good. Got roasted duck, wonton soup, peking duck, sweet and sour chicken. I don’t even care for regular chinese take out, and dislike how oily and salty it can be sometimes— But they do it right. I have had some tragic vegetarian chinese dining experiences in Chinatown that take advantage of the prime location. Overpriced and flavorless. This is exactly the opposite. I have had meat eater friends enjoy the dishes just fine. Kudos to CoCo Lin.“
“Solid spot. They stay open very late. My group ordered a bunch of stuff and shared it. Nachos were great (bulgogi is the star), tteokbokki was spicy and delicious. Service was good, our waitress was helpful and accommodating. I'll be back again soon.“
“Fresh, delicious food at very reasonable price, paired with great, friendly service --- what else can one ask for? Perhaps a variety of Asian food including quality sushi, poke bowls and ramen dishes? Yep - they have you covered in a clean dining room. Even the fish in the aquarium at the entrance are well-behaved and wish you a "bon apetit" when you enter! [Just kidding, but only about that last part]. Happy that we found this place, and will be back!“
“I've been here three times with three different groups of friends and they've all loved this place. I always get sushi however one person I went with didn't eat sushi, but he loved the General Tso's chicken. They have a great assortment and diversity of selections on their menu. Their sushi is very fresh, beautifully presented and melts in your mouth. There are plenty of cooked options as well for people who do not eat sushi. The ambience is nice with a smaller sized dining room, and the service is outstanding. It's nice because the servers are on top of your meal/order without being on top of your table. I highly recommend this restaurant and can't wait to go back again.“
“As a New Yorker when someone suggests going out for Chinese you would normally assume, and rightfully so, that you'll end up ordering from a "hole in wall" fast food spot.Kai isn't that. It's a sit down place where you just enjoy your food in a peaceful atmosphere. The pricing was ok, but it was NYC so it was to be expected. The food however is worth the cost. Consider it something like take-out plus, Chinese food with a twist. And it is not just "Chinese" food, under the category of "Asian fusion" their menus are a little bit from the many color cultures of the East. Come for sushi, get some hot sake alongside it, with some wings and soup.It was a great place, relaxing, the music was tame and not in your face, and the staff seemed to have grown on us as time went by.Bring your family, or friends, or maybe just by yourself and have yourself some of that classic food we New York's associate as Asian.“
“The owner of iDiner moved about four stores away to Irma off of Main Street, and I'd have to say ambiance wise it's truly an upgrade. They have a beautiful dining patio outside and a humble interior. The bathroom is easy to get to and spacious. Everything is at grade level which is even better for handicapped people. I had a party of six and we sat outside. There was a good mix of shade and sun for those who didn't mind being a little cold or hot. The restaurant was able to accommodate us on Easter Sunday an hour earlier than they originally do open, so we would be guaranteed a place to eat. (Every other option was fully booked a week in advance!) The food was really good. We had a mix of beer and boba shakes for those of us who are sober. The kimchi pancakes were perfect and no shellfish to be frightful of in regards to allergies. We tried their popcorn chicken and one was a little sweet and spicy and the other was plain. We shared edamame. And everyone was happy with their dishes whether it be the vegetarian japchae, beef bulgogi, dolsot bibimbap with an egg, house salad, soup, chicken katsu, etc! Only one star removed because the veggies were still more raw than cooked in the dolsot bibimbap. I know we were a large group, but cooking it a little extra would have been preferred. Happy eats!“
“The Food is impeccable, as well as the service, High quality ingredients. The owner is also the nicest person I've ever met would recommend 10/10. Every time I'm here I feel like home the servers are really nice especially Elliot, and Linda“
“Best Chinese food takeout in the LB-IP-Oceanside Area. Go to order: Pork soup dumplings (note: the cashier will clarify if you meant pork soup dumpling or dumpling soup. Yes, you do mean Pork Soup Dumpling), crab meat cheese wonton, pecking duck, eggplant with garlic sauce, and crispy shrimp w/ honey walnut“
“I had my wedding rehearsal dinner here and Tommy was incredibly accommodating and ensured that everything ran smoothly from start to finish The food was absolutely delicious, and my bridal party still raves about it, especially the sushi! The staff was also very attentive and made sure that all of our needs were met. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a great dining experience.“
“Cocktails are awesome! Food is good, but, very salty which is typical for Asian cuisine. Salmon was frozen, not fresh, and foe the price, that is disappointing.Cleanliness can be worked on. Floor and bar top is sticky. BATHROOM badly in need of upgrading, and CLEANING!“
“I don't know what isn't to love here! Prepare for very long waits, but it's worth it! All you can eat hotpot with lots of options of seafood, meats, veggies, drinks, side dishes, etc! Plenty of ingredients to customize your own dipping sauce too. I love this place! They're all very friendly and helpful!“
“Kulu in flushing is a casual, affordable, and takeout friendly spot, with an extensive menu serving both traditional and innovative Hong Kong style desserts. I've come with my fam a few times for the classic sweet soups. This time we were drawn by the colorful HK bubble waffles with different ice cream flavors like ube, rose, matcha and black sesame. It took about 20 minutes as the waffles were made to order, and were handed to us crispy on the outside and cakey on the inside. Each cup was visually appealing, filled with a large scoop of ice cream and mixed toppings.*Triple Sesame HK Bubble Waffle 芝麻三重奏雞蛋仔**We were pleasantly surprised by Triple Sesame -- the waffle batter was sesame flavored! It had a slightly nutty and earthy taste from the black sesame seeds speckled on it. It was so impressive that I might grab a plain sesame waffle next time! Also I couldn't deny my bias towards dragonfruit.*Ube Ube HK Bubble Waffle 香芒紫薯雞蛋仔Ube ice cream was on the sweeter side, nothing groundbreaking but simply enjoyable. It was generously topped with mango, mochi and granola drizzled with ube syrup, adding fun textures to the dessert. Personally not a fan of ube-mango combo, but if you enjoy tropical flavors, you should def get this one. I also wish the mashed or pureed ube was added to the original bubble waffle to further enhance the flavor and color.*Mixed Fruit Tea 四季鮮水果冰茶***Cheese Taro Milk 芝士奶蓋芋香鮮奶Their staff recommended me their bestselling fruit tea, and I was amazed by this refreshing choice. I ordered it with 30% sugar and less ice, so the sweetness level was just perfect. It consisted of a base of brewed tea combined with fresh fruit slices. Cheese taro milk was average, so save your quota for their tea.“
“The best word to describe this place is fusion. It combines Tibetan, Indian, Bhutanese, and Chinese flavors into delicious meals. The food has a great balance of all the best part of these cuisines.Try their Tibetan style cuisines like the Momo, the pork ribs, and the thin cut seasoned fries. Then try their Bhutanese ema datsi. Combine everything to create a unique sino-indo-Tibetan cuisine.10/10 would recommend.“
“Lin's might be my new local go-to for pan-Asian cuisine in North Bronx! My takeout order was ready for pick up within minutes, the staff was friendly, and everything was packaged perfectly. The inside was clean and spacious when I stepped in with a nice, casual atmosphere when I stepped in.As for the food, everything tasted fresh, delicious, and perfectly satisfying! I had the chicken fried rice, the spicy crunch salmon roll, the pepper tuna avocado roll, and the shrimp tempura roll. All of the rolls tasted great-- the best one being the pepper tuna for me-- and the preparation and quality really allowed the flavors to shine. However, my favorite item turned out to be the chicken fried rice. The chicken tasted just a bit caramelized for a savory, umami-rich dish that was not at all greasy. I would definitely come back just for this fried rice!Overall, Lin's was definitely worth it with the reasonable prices justifying the portion sizes and quality of the food!“
“Better than I was told it would be.Maybe because I ordered something different than a friend who had been there I like itVegetarian options: The second thing next to rice is vegetables. I'm sure you know that.Kid-friendliness: All kids love chicken wingsWheelchair accessibility: You're kidding right“
“Pros Tips:1) wings over big drum sticks2) mix and match - soy garlic and sweet chili (unique flavor ( get bbq anywhere)3) EAT RADISH! It's vinegar with sugar so it's damn sweet and helps you eat more4) eat one soy drumstick then eat one sweet chili wing.5) ADVANCED. eat one bite of soy then I e bite of sweet chili.***SUPER LEVEL*** RIP THE MEAT MIX TOGETHER AND PUT IT IN YOUR MOUTH!!!6) for ultimate drink with a sprite, get your own though cause who wants to pay over two bucks a can, right.Con: this is double fried and you'll feel some heart palpitations and grogginess afterwards but the bliss was nice while it lasted. :)$30 for 20 wings.. you'll be good after 10-12, anymore and you're stuffing it. Either way enjoy another 6-8 for lunch tomorrow.“
