About TiHu The Noodle House

TiHu The Noodle House offers authentic Taiwanese snacks at affordable prices. The braised pork rice is a standout favorite, and the minced pork is highly praised. The salt and pepper chicken is extra crispy, not oily, and tastes very good. The food is tasty, appealing, and customizable with a good variety of choices. Despite a smaller menu, the quality remains high, and the chef is proud of his Taiwanese heritage. The service is efficient and friendly in this small, quiet, and homey location. The restaurant also features a small mu-er (wood ear) mushroom salad as an amuse-bouche, which is well seasoned. The braised tofu and fan che tsau dan are highly recommended, with the tofu being one of the best seasoned dishes. TiHu has come the closest to recreating the experience of a traditional Taiwanese eatery and is worth the trip to Bayside.

We recommend trying the salt and pepper chicken! it’s really good and flavorful!
This Taiwanese restaurant might be one of the most delicious and authentic places in NYC. It is so delicious. My family got the beef noodle soup, pork chop rice, popcorn chicken, fried ribs, and stinky tofu. Not only are the portions huge, but the flavor is genuinely unbeatable.

Even though the wait is long, every minute is worth it. Once you taste the meal, you’ll understand. Paying with cash you get a 5% discount! Only ~$70 before tip for a bunch of food!
Good food and variety plus large portions.
