The food ordered was tasty and very appealing. There is a good variety of choices and can be almost customizable. The prices are reasonable for the amount of food you are given. Service was efficient and they were willing to work with me on the selections. Small but quality and quiet location.

Menu changed! Noodles are still good. Still 3 types of noodles you can pick from. Menu is much condense in a good way. Service is always friendly. Small but homey.

I had spacy noodle with soup, stir-fried beef as topping. Love it! I'm spacy food fans. it's not spacy for me even hot level.

I don’t know why there are so many bad reviews. I personally think they are large in quantity and affordable. The dry noodles taste much better than the soup noodles. The pot is full of steam and the aroma is confusing!

I really wanted to like this place more...especially given the prices! But it's hit-or-miss, with some items all right and others a joke (the three-cups chicken is really slap-dash)...I'll never understand why restaurants fill up their menus with dishes they can't do properly -- and it's not a simple matter of different tastes and opinions but we're talking about downright "homestyle" cooking, stuff that's simple and demonstrates no skill at all (the sha-cha beef with watercress). Then even the things they can do good they'll mess up, such as the Taiwan popcorn chicken dish, which can sometimes be fried delicately with skill and other times just done the same nondescript way as any other place (like think "crunchy" instead of "crispy," with the meat kinda dry instead of moist). The Sichuan beef noodle broth is pretty plain (commonplace "chili madness") but the beef chunks themselves are so nicely done, really soft and easily "falling apart" but not mushy at all -- very skillful! Braised pork rice looks good but is missing that "deep-cooked" "flava." So everything's hit-or-miss here and I'm well over two hundred dollars spent dining in over several occasions. So they're "ambitious" here like most eateries but really just okay overall with some bit of culinary brilliance on occasion. I visit since it's practically next door but wouldn't bother traveling farther...this is "home cooking" in the amateur sense, as if a short-order line cook got the idea to open up his/her own restaurant!

Wanted to eat braised pork rice tonight, ordered from the noodle house and this is what I got. Called them and they said they r too busy and asked if I can eat this. Didn’t offer any resolution. First time and also the last time ordering from them. Really bad customer service. And this dish I got doesn’t even taste good.

The $15 set meal does not come with eggs (there are eggs in the advertising picture), and there is a 3% credit card charge. The taste is very average.

Braised pork rice and popcorn chicken are top notch, very delicious! The boss lady taking orders was very friendly, service was great. Higher recommended, would totally go back again! The Taiwanese black tea was so really good (and not too sweet), it was perfect and the way I liked it.Pork rice, crispy salted chicken, shredded kelp and shredded potatoes are all super delicious. The black tea is delicious! The boss lady is super nice. Highly recommended!

Very friendly owner, the Taiwanese braised pork over rice was good and salt and pepper chicken was good too! They ran out of that pretty quickly. Fried chicken cutlet is another alternative. Tea was good and not too sweet. Cold noodles are both skippable.

Very expensive ! Fir take out, had ordered the stirfried pork. It was the same portions as the Chinese restaurant for five dollars less although it was tasty and it was more vegetables and rice than meat.
