“Wanted to try a Taiwanese style restaurant, it was so good. The flavors are really there and everything tastes great. We ordered 4 things- beef noodle soup (very tender and the noodles and the soup were so flavorful)- salt and pepper chicken was so crunchy- we got a lamb with vegetables plate (very sweet and savory)- pig intestines (so crunchy and delicious!)Overall experience 10/10 would come again“
“As you walk in the Restaurant, you immediately get a homey atmosphere in this place! The food was served very quickly. The Authentic Taiwanese Beef Noodle Soup is excellent as the broth is very thick and flavorful. The beef that they use is half tendon half meat, which is the best combo that a merchant can use when preparing this dish! Overall, the food is excellent! I would definitely come back again! As a bonus, their pickled cabbage and peanuts side dish are excellent too!“
“We ordered several dinner dishes to go and were happy with all dishes we ordered. We liked that the meat dishes were all meats and not with half vegetables underneath to take up space. The flavors of all the dishes were very good. We really liked the food and looked forward to try their sister restaurant named Ok Ryan soon.“
“A tea place that is more traditional herbal style rather than milk/Boba. I got thr osmanthus oolong tea. It personally was not my favourite taste but I can definitely taste the herbal osmanthus so it does not just taste like sugar water like most other tea places.“
“Alright, with all the Yelpers reviews of this Boba Tea shop; figured got to give this place a try while in Flushing Queens. The main attraction is the starchy Boba balls made fresh and churned daily in that sweet brown sugar sauce. Ordered the Iced Brown Sugar Boba Tea;wait time was just about ten minutes. Because it's still Winter weather- drinks with no ice cost an additional quarter. My drink tasted really good- the boba itself was still warm; gave the drink some extra warmth. The texture of the boba was bouncy and chewy- and has that great brown sugar after taste. The drink was a bit too milky- watched the clerk pour so much lactaid milk into my cup. Overall, boba tastes better in the Winter time“
“I love coming here for the beef noodle soup. Taking one star off though because I always order delivery from here when I can’t drive out to Elmhurst and I’ve noticed that they substantially decreased the amount of the fried appetizers (calamari and sweet potato) these past few times I’ve ordered.“
“A cozy Taiwan restaurant in Bayside with high quality price ratio.Highlight: 5 mins to Cross Island Parkway exit 31w.Note: Cash only. Venmo/Zelle not available.Must-try: Lu Rou Fan 卤肉饭,Taiwanese Salt Pepper Popcorn Chicken 盐酥鸡Recommendation: Gua Bao刈包, beef in Niu Rou Mian 牛肉面Food: We ordered Lu Rou Fan (braised pork rice), Gua Bao (meat bun), Niu Rou Mian (beef noodles), and salt pepper popcorn chicken. The best part is how tender and soft the meat is, even the fatty parts melt in your mouth. They offer two types of rice, Lu Rou Fan and Khong Rou Fan. Gua Bao uses the same Khong Rou in Khong Rou Fan. Khong Rou is a large piece of meat with fat and lean parts. Gua Bao uses crushed peanuts and sugar on the meat. If you like big bites of meat, you will probably like this texture. Note that it is relatively greasy compared to other dishes. The crispy fried chicken is quite tender, but a bit salty. The beef in the beef noodles is top-notch, sadly the noodles are too soft and lack chewiness. My personal favorite is Lu Rou Fan. It has pickled cucumbers inside with a slightly sour but refreshing taste to balance the greasiness. The sportion of food is another highlight. It is more filling than it looks.Price: It is beyond my expectation. We were so full and even had leftover to bring home, while we spent less than $30 per person.Parking: they have parking lot in front of the restaurant, but spaces are limited.“
“one of my favorite places on the planet. home cooked style meals and friendly service.the three cup chicken and sauce with their white sticky rice is to die for. discovering new dishes at this place is always a treat.cash only but there's free parking. thanks Taiwanese Gourmet for a reliable good time!“
“Very dope boba spot with lots of claw machines filled with cute plushies! I got a Green Milk Tea with Boba and Whipped Taro which were pretty good. The taro was creamy and delicious. I would recommend checking this place out if you're looking for a cool spot to test your luck with the claw machines and get good boba. They also serve lots of fried snacks and food options.“
“I'll come back for braised port with dry noodles and luroufan. Pork chop over rice is a bit greasy and the bread crumbs was too thick. Probably won't order Tainan Bun Kueh again because the texture was more like mashed potato and not like the Kueh texture I am used to. Stream Glutinous oil rice (油飯) was good and would come back for it.“
“Wheel cake is a delightful treat that is popular in Japan, Taiwan, and South Korea. It features a round and crispy outer shell made from batter. The cake is filled with a wide range of flavors, ranging from sweet options like custard, butter taro, and red bean, to savory choices such as tuna corn salad and sautéed cabbage. We will make wheel cakes and invite people to taste. Attendes can also have a try.“
“Grandma was a very nice person. One night at 8:30, the store was already closed, so I called to place an order with the intention of giving it a try, but she still helped prepare the meal. Later I asked my grandma, and she said that it was closed, but the pot was still hot, but she tried her best to cook. I work outside and am warmed by my grandma’s kindness? The rice is delicious, and the soup, whether salty or sweet, is delicious.“
“This place is amazing. All the food is absolutely delicious and the staff is wonderful and welcoming. It's a great place to bring kids, family and friends toy won't be disappointed. Besides that this place is very affordable and budget friendly. I can recommend this all and everyone I know. Thank you Lucky for providing us with delicious food and amazing service. I look forward for the next meal and dinning.“
“The best restaurant in New York, and the lady boss is also nice. The most important thing is that the milk tea in this store is full of details. The pearls are of two different sizes, which enriches the taste and keeps the taste from boring. Last time I ordered the Flaming Mountain Brown Sugar Milk. They also paid attention to details, adding sea salt cream on top and grilling it with flames...it was really perfect. This time it was Yangzhi Manna and Mango Thick Milk. I was amazed again. Oh my god, it tastes really good. Those who read negative reviews are telling lies with their eyes closed. Don’t believe it. This store is worth traveling half an hour to try!“
“Chun Yang Tea offers over 42 different beverages to choose from. Small but there is room for two tables with chairs. There are stools for additional seating at the window. I ordered the winter melon drink which was pretty delicious and refreshing.“
“The food ordered was tasty and very appealing. There is a good variety of choices and can be almost customizable. The prices are reasonable for the amount of food you are given. Service was efficient and they were willing to work with me on the selections. Small but quality and quiet location.“
“Only Real Taiwan Fried Chicken in NYC! If you want the real Taiwan fried chicken in NYC, this is the only spot, period! I tried lots of places claiming themselves are Taiwanese , but they just couldn’t get the taste 50% right ?But stumbling upon this place was a happy accident. The chicken here is truly Amazing. It’s huge, too – enough to share with a friend. It reminded me of Taiwan’s night markets, which I miss a lot. I love it here and I’ll be back often. If you want authentic Taiwan fried chicken, come here. 100% won’t be disappointed!“
“One of my favorite places in all of Flushing! The braised rice bowls, sesame chicken soups, and beef noodle soups are all amazing! Also great for Taiwanese popcorn chicken. I have been told the braised pork rice bowl is the best item, but unfortunately I do not eat pork.I usually order on Uber Eats, but the restaurant is clean with great service and in a central location. Food comes out lightning fast. They are also open late night. If you're looking to try Taiwanese food, check out Four Four!“
“Love QQ bakery- its close to my family and I’ve been going for a long time. Stopped for a while due to covid, but now that I’m staying with family, QQ has been a real life saver Its one of the only bakeries to be open early @ 6am. Their breads are delicious, warm and fresh- and best of all- a bang for your buck! I got 2 special breads and a breakfast scallion bread/pancake for less than $6. Absolutely crazy considering how much bakery prices have gone up. I saw that they also have tea egg, red bean pancakes and more for breakfast which ill try out later.I know its a bit far out from the “main” part of flushing but i love it!“
“This place was always crowded so I was curious. Ordered fried stinky tofu, oyster pancake, and beef fried rice. All was tasty! Decent portion, definitely can share for two per plate. My favorite was beef fried rice, it was light and not so greasy. Fried stinky tofu was savory and served with sour cabbage which was refreshing. Oyster pancake came soft. Price was fair, all under 10$ each for my order. They also have lunch special. The service was quick enough, and the staffs are helpful & friendly. You can come in large groups, there were big round tables. Would recommend!“
“Checked out this spot as it was one of the only places in New Flushing Mall that took Apple pay. Though the drink was expensive, it was actually pretty good. I chose to get the feature drink because the pics of it sold me and it looked pretty tasty. I don't know if I'd pay $8 again for it, but it was pretty good, and that cup was HUGE. I couldn't finish it so I had my boyfriend finish it for me.“
“i think some people already said the broth/noodles lacked salt. i think just by adding some salt, it would really help the broth. portions were good for the price. i think some people were complaining about the portion vs price were getting delivery and the apps are always more $$ that dining in. otherwise the noodles were cooked well and i was full by the end of my meal. i'd go back and hope they add some salt to the broth.“
“The servers are quick, consistent, and attentive. The soup dumplings at this location are so good. As are their scallion pancakes. Their spicy beef soup is good there and even reheated the next day at home. My kids love eating here. The bathrooms are clean. The place is clean. And we have had great experiences here. I would just double check their opening time on Sundays. I believe Google has it as 1030 but I think its actually at 11.“
“Always consistent and delicious food. The soup dumplings are always on point, but take out can lead to some of them popping open. It's best eating once they are ready. Cumin lamb, spicy beef noodle, minced pork, & items for kids like lomein & chicken and broccoli are always well made. There are many styles of Chinese cuisine and I feel like many bad reviews of this place are because lack of cooking and cuisine knowledge. The food is clean, consistent, and great. Don't trust people with a palate of a 5 year old“
“Great!!! Food!!! Definitely coming back with my friends~*pictures* shaghainese noodles w/ & w/o chicken. Sweet and sour, chicken and cashews. Angus beef fried dumpling, red bean cakes(hot), half and half tea.Vegetarian options: You can do vegetable version of dish. And there are strictly vegetable sides“
“Yum yum yummm. As a Taiwanese person, I loveeee the basil mayo sauce with the large popcorn chicken. It’s a total delight after a long workout at the climbing gym too. I also reccomend the ru rou fan (marinated pork) on a bed of rice a with half an egg and scallions“
