“Great take on Lu rou fan (minced pork and rice), excellent scallion pancakes and awesome dessert (Tian miantuan) that was like a sandwich of sweet fried dough, golden sesame ice cream and condensed milk (plus cilantro and butter dried peanuts)! Great beverages as well such as the slightly sweetened Jasmine iced tea and Sanzo (lychee & calamansi) sparkling water products!“

“I’ve been to this restaurant twice, and while the food is generally good—some dishes, like the fried chicken, stand out—the overall dining experience leaves much to be desired. Both times, our food arrived within minutes of ordering, but the temperature of the dishes was less than ideal, which made it feel rushed. Additionally, the tables are packed very closely together, making it uncomfortable and not very enjoyable.

The service was another drawback; the servers seemed rushed and were not particularly friendly, which took away from the experience. Overall, while the food has its moments, I’d much rather go to Win Son for Taiwanese cuisine, as it offers better quality and a more pleasant dining atmosphere.“

“Fun casual spot to grab a bite before heading to a Nets or Liberty game! The chicken was my favorite! It was so flavorful and the spicy level was perfect for me. It was just enough to kick but not overwhelming the flavour. The sides are fantastic too.“

“Very nostalgic and homey atmosphere, as well as friendly and welcoming staff.

The prices are very reasonable for the area ($10 or less). Cash/Venmo preferred.

Their best dishes are the braised pork, hands down. Very tender and fatty. For beef noodle, their beef is tender and the soup is flavorful, but the noodle texture can be better, it was too soggy.

The 3 cup chicken and eggplant are too sweet, in my opinion. The potsticker filling were also just alright, but i like how they pan fried it.“

“Every dish on the menu is made with care and precision. I’ve been multiple times and each time the food and quality is consistently delicious. My favorites are the popcorn chicken, Taiwanese sausage, douban cabbage, and most recently, the sha cha beef fried rice. Cocktails are also special, each with their own unique flavor combinations. The interior setting is also versatile for a romantic date, dinner, or casual meet up with friends. There’s also bar seating if you’re rolling solo. I’ve been to a few events in the back room, and it’s perfect for a party with a jukebox and pretty table settings!“

“Delicious food if not a bit on the expensive side. Their bentos are good with a nice variety, but I keep coming back for their pork braised rice/noodle because it's so good. Give it a shot if you're looking for a cheap and filling meal. If they gave some vegetables it'd be a complete meal for me. Pardon the half ate food, I just wanted to dig in.“

“It’s a cute place! I appreciate that it has seating. Plus the food+ drink combo options are nice! They have a bunch of drink options, but my friend and I opted for a Brown Sugar Milk tea and a Mango Green tea. The mango green tea wasn’t what I expected! As it had a lot of mango pulp and less of the refreshing tea vibe I expected. Also my friend’s milk tea was quite diluted and mostly tasted of the milk.“

“Solid 4 star. It was cramped with 5 employees. Not a sit down. It's a hole in the wall shop. I ordered the pork with pickle veggies. It's a classic item. I liked it but was not a fan of mayonnaise. There was mayonnaise in the middle. Before buying, ask if they use any sauces. If I knew there was mayonnaise I would tell them to leave it out. Then the rice roll will be good.“

“It's a strange location inside; the partition between the customer and the food preparers make it appear if it's set up either for COVID or for a bad neighborhood that has experienced robberies. But the drinks are excellent, and although it was too cold for shaved ice, it looked authentic - no need to go to Taipei!!!“

“Seeing the hotplate dish on Google review and curious about trying it out so I came here. The place is very convenient and easy to get to. Small tidy restaurant with so many different decorations on the wall. Did a walk in and got seated right away. They didn't have the food that I wanted so I ordered something else. Food came out fast, good service from the staff. They take cash or zelle, very interesting type of payment (first time seeing a place taking zelle).“
