“Solid sushi place with fresh fish and good service. Menu is not as extensive as at other sushi restaurants but enough of the standard option to appease the palate. Prices are reasonable for the area and the portion of food served. I went on a Friday evening around 7pm and the place was not crowded nor was there a wait for a table.“

“Really enjoyed our dinner at RUA Thai. The food is beautifully presented, but more importantly, the flavors still feel bold and distinctly Thai rather than toned down for looks. The Shrimp Donuts were crisp outside with a generous, bouncy shrimp filling, and the Larb Wings had a great balance of lime, chili, herbs, and fish sauce. The Cream Tom Yum was rich but still kept the signature sour-spicy kick, while the Crab Curry was probably my favorite main — flavorful, aromatic, and perfect with rice. The Crying Tiger was also cooked very well, with a nice char and a bright Thai dipping sauce. We also tried the Chili & The Moon cocktail, which paired mezcal with mango in a really balanced way, smoky, fruity, and not overly sweet. Great atmosphere, thoughtful presentation, and food that actually delivers on flavor. Definitely a place I’d come back to.“

High quality, hearty, and thought-out dishes made with love makes it worth the price. My favorite things to get from here are the Green Aura Juice and their Jamaican patties. However when it comes to the quality of the food they're worth it. I just had to Nagi rice cup and a seaweed salad I literally can't stop licking my chopsticks. It was so GOOD!. Even got better as you dug into the cup lol If you're looking for something different and on the lighter side that was just at the spot. So rice is a good option.“

“I’ve known Queen since they first opened at HoY - the falafel and everything else is still reliably great and delicious.

I also love how calm this place is; it’s cute without being pretentious and this one of the very places I can sit and catch up with friends without having to scream at each other.

“Experiencing a classic tonkotsu ramen was very satisfying. We came in and wanted to be seated at the booth, and it was nice that the partition wall that divides each booth can be folded up if you want to sit with your party. The ramen itself was amazing, although the quality of the chashu differed with each piece. Broth was rich and addictive and would totally eat here again for the ramen itself. We also enjoyed the matcha pudding, which was a cute little dessert for us to share but I honestly wouldn't get it again. The matcha flavor wasn't particularly strong and although it wasn't sweet (which is how I prefer it) I just wouldn't get it again. 10/10 would go back if I was in the area again.“

Sokhna is the reason why I try different things instead of the same thing all the time. The food is always great followed by the tasty drink selections that they offer in the fridge. “There's multiple locations throughout the city and I've tried a couple different things on the menu. This time I had the lentil soup and it was honestly one of the best I've had. I ordered online and the staff made it when I arrived so it was still warm. I will definitely be back.“

“Our guests are arriving around 3:30 on Sunday. We wanted to sit down, have a meal, and chat. I called to make a reservation at this cafe. Artem answered, saying he was the manager. He asked, ‘Will you leave by 5?’ I thought maybe there was a banquet after 5, but I was told, ‘No, we just have two time slots: until 5 and from 6. It’s inconvenient for us otherwise. Even Igor (the owner) won’t be able to help you.’ It felt very rude and unprofessional. I’ve lived in the US for 30 years and have been to this cafe many times (though usually after 6), but I’ve never encountered service like this anywhere before. My desire to visit again has probably disappeared for good.“

“This place is a hidden GEM. I just ordered pickup here for lunch today, Tuesday June 30th, and I was absolutely blown away. Two rolls, the Spicy Salmon Avocado and the Ocean Roll, and they were so fresh and perfectly balanced. It was literally up there in quality with the fine dining sushi place I once worked at, called Zuma, which is Manhattan. They melted in my mouth. They could even stand toe to toe with sushi I've had at fish markets in Tokyo. Unbelievable. Blew way past my expectations.“

I had fhe beef Kee Mao, coconut pudding as well and Kim Crawford wine. The ambiance is nice and the mellow music is relaxing. I was so relaxed during my dessert and lost in the music. “A decent AYCE place, we loved the variety of options as well as sashimi. The service was great and everything was clean. My only issues were that the white tuna was very much frozen and had that fridge taste/texture. My eel roll also had so many bones I was struggling to remove and you could feel it stabbing you in your throat. Otherwise, everything was very pleasant.“

“Still my favorite crossing bridge location in 8 Avenue. Very flavored broth and for a time frame now they stopped charging tips and it's more self service.

So you ordered in the front and for crossing bridge noodles you can either request them to put in everything or have them take it out with each ingredient and put in everything yourself. It's also not as busy back in the day so usually there isn't any wait time.“

We had the steam pork buns, the fuzhou wonton soup, noodles with peanut sauce and the mei fen with beef tripe soup. I got the pan fried pork buns to go. It was super good and tasteful. Ratings and expectations should be within reason. This is clearly not a Michelin starred restaurant nor is it pretending to be. This is your local Chinese takeout spot that makes great tasting food for a reasonable price and belongs to a family of hard workers.“
