“Im new to the area and just walked in expecting a regular deli but this is TRULY a hidden gem, the food is so fresh and flavorful. I got the Philly cheesesteak and it was soooo delicious. The staff is super friendly as well. Will definitely be coming back!“

“My goto for Chinese and Japanese take out in Throggs Neck. Their food, drinks and noodles with duck sauce reminds me of the old Hawaii Sea on Tremont. I always order from them and I am never disappointed. But this review is not for the great food but for them going above and beyond to please a customer. A friend of mine caught a fresh yellow fin tuna and I wanted to make my own sushi. They sold me their sushi rice which is awesome and included all the condiments I needed to make the meal with my family a success. I also purchased some shumai cuz theirs are the bomb. Thanks to the awesome staff for helping me make it all possible and suggesting what saki from the liquor store next door to make my authentic Japanese meal at home. Most places would be stand offish but they actually applauded me and asked me to show them pictures when I came back. So I’m gonna do one better and write this awesome review and post the pics from my meal here ❤️🫵🏼💚🐲“

“The gentleman working the counter moved quickly and efficiently, while being friendly and listening to my order. I also love that he did not skimp on the portions (unlike chipotle where they are so cheap and I have to request they scoop a little more, and then they seem bothered) which is very helpful as I also ordered for my 2 growing sons (who eat a lot), and we all left full and satisfied. Unfortunately there are not many Qdoba locations in NYC, but this one definitely lives up to the standards and food I’ve eaten at other locations outside of the city and I will be returning.“

“Idk about the other reviews, I find that the staff are friendly and work hard throughout the day to make sure that the order is right. They make really good drinks and I always find the store clean and fully stocked. I always find the workers in a good mood and busy working. “This was my first visit. I was not there for dinner, I visited after dinner time. I went to get something to have for lunch the next day. I ordered the Egg Foo Young, it was EXCELLENT. Believe it or not the food was great the next day. So, just imagine how good it would have been pipping hot the same night. The place is drab looking but i'll take that over a fabulously decorated restaurant with drab food.“

“I always come here and bring everybody that I can. The oxtail, curry chicken, curry goat and the cabbage are my favorites. The service is immaculate, they run to help me with whatever I need. “If your coming ofd a cold and looking for some protein don't order the Chicken Bones, I mean Chicken Wings as they have no meat 🍖 on them. There's not even a teaspoon of meat per chicken wing. All the other food is great though. #WheresTheMeat“

“In my search of a decent Chinese restaurant these days, I came across Yummy House. Due to all the poor reviews, I hesitated ordering from them however, every time, I pass by, I see people in and out ALL THE TIME. I’m glad I decided to give them a try. This is the second time and I am LOVING them so far. Vegetables tasted very fresh and were not over cooked. The picture is chicken and garlic sauce with white rice. The egg rolls were tasty and NOT greasy AT ALL. I hope they keep it up! They are pricey but this is the way of life now. It costs a lot for these businesses to stay open. I’m willing to pay if the food and service is worth it. I’m pretty satisfied. Woman on the phone was very courteous.“
