“I cross the freakin bridge from NJ to go here... Regularly. They are better than the spots around me in North Jersey.1. There are super nice people working here and explain the dishes to you if you're not Jamaican and unfamiliar with the cuisine.2. Their portions for the price are easily 2x the places in north jersey.3. Their food is just better tasting than the other spots I've tried. The oxtail... Succulent and falling off the bone. The Jerk Chicken... Seasoned all the way down the bone and just heavenly.You will not be disappointed if you stop in here, 100% worth the stop.“
“I think Mya's Bar & Kitchen is an underrated spot. The food and service have not disappointed me yet and the space is an overall vibe. I've gone here several times and whether it's the honey shrimp, oxtail tacos, mac and cheese as well as sorrel drinks...Mya's Bar & Kitchen brings me joy. It's a well needed spot to the neighborhood and I hope more people come out to support this place. I don't want to see it go.“
“Customer Service was great. I was in desperate need of some fried plantain (lol) and stoped here. When I got inside they said none was prepared. I explained how I didn’t want anything else that morning besides that. The lady in the front asked the Chef if he had any, he checked and they did. The chef made the plantain and it was done in no time. Im so appreciative because for them It was not about a customer only potentially spending a dollar on an order of plantain. They took the time to make someone’s day better with what ever inconveniences they might have had. Most restaurants would have said they don’t have it and wouldn’t even attempt to make more even if they could. Thank you guys and I will definitely be coming back to try things on the menu. “Okay where is the " 10 stars" option? When I tell you their food is amazing ,I mean haands down amazing! I can hardly walk by without stopping to buy ,and I been gaining weight as a result of that even though I always choose to order with only vegetables, no rice. I anticipate Fridays when they cook the goat soup(Manish water) it's the best I ever had ,and am 39 years old lol. They are always very pleasant, and I like that because most places you go to ,the workers are always so rude and unpleasant,as a matter of fact that's how I ended up starting to buy food here,because I was frequent at another Jamaican Restaurant other the other side of the street a little walk down,and the gal that works there ever rude,and I decided to try this Restaurant instead, and I was forever hooked,thanks to bad customer service at another place, I found this gem. ?“
“I ordered off Uber eats and was very surprised by how nice the portion was especially for the price. The food was delicious. I got the jerk pork and also the barbecue pork ribs and both were fantastic. The rice and everything was just so well seasoned, and I’ll definitely be back. Side note I lowkey wish it came with fried plantains but nevertheless the food was AMAZING!!“
“I have ordered both in the restaurant which is extremely small with no seating.I also had it delivered the food was well packaged.As it pertains to the food itself the food is well seasoned. The only dish I would state that needs a bit of a change is saltfish, and ackee whichwas a bit greasy and the dumplings needed to be fried a bit softer and needed a bit of seasoning. It is only on the breakfast menu, I would suggest to make this dish throughout the day.Otherwise, the food is great and I would highly recommend it.“

“There are many foods options to choose from, such as authentic Jamaican curry goat, tripe with beans and fried chicken are my faves - good portions with great taste. “I can’t count the number of times I’ve had the chicken soup delivered from here. It is so comforting, and the chicken falls off the bone (probably why sometimes you get lots of chicken and other times not as much). I have literally ordered just the soup and dealt with the cost of delivery plus tip being more than the soup itself - it’s that yummy ?Once in awhile I’ll crave patties and chicken soup so will order elsewhere (I don’t think Frank’s has patties), but the soup just isn’t as good as Frank’s.“
“Coming from Dallas , OMG food was soooo good I had to go back inside and let boss know… I was so pleased. Food is definitely tasty and not over powering which is a PLUS…Boss lady was patient and allowed to try the jerk chicken which was too spicy for me but it was definitely good… the flavors are really flavoring..Bbq chicken sauce is different and tasty . “Pay attention to the address… the store is located under train. So after walking in from the street I immediately was greeted. I ordered two large oxtails one with rice n peas the other with Callaloo. The plates were heavy !! And made with love and respect … big up’s to the chef will be returning for more… and the prices were definitely reasonable. Good buy !!!!!!“

“I Ordered the Large Oxtails and J*** BBQ Chicken . Both dishes were good and definitely worth the detour we took to get there. Oxails wasn't tough, it was almostmeltingin my mouth. The server was very nice and was ok with answering my questions. So service 5, taste food 5 but the decor of the store is definitely a 2. Don't get me wrong there is nothing wrong. it's a good store and I would definitely eat here a million more times.“
