“This place was recommended to me by a Jamaican woman. She mentioned the food was the best in the area (there are a number of other Jamaican restaurants in the area) but they can run out of food and it gets busy at lunch times, so I avoided it. Today I tried and we found parking lot made parking easy. Service was prompt and the food was much better than some of other places nearby including a chain restaurant. Jerk pork was very tender and the rice and beans were excellent. Others in our party loved the chicken and shrimp pasta specials. Will have to try some other dishes. (I worked nearby but never tried it sooner because I was warned about crowds but it was not that crowded and we were served promptly. I would not go for atmosphere but the servers were friendly.“

“My opinion is 8.7/10. Is it the best Jamaican beef patty I've ever had? No but overall our place that makes handmade Jamaican beef patties with a good overall flavor I recommend it. Best thing definitely has to be the crust I just wish for $3 it was a little bit more meat / seasoning. Check out my in depth video reviews on any of the platforms below. “If you’re looking for fresh, authentic Jamaican patties, this is definitely the place to go! The customer service is phenomenal, and the management is not only friendly but truly cares about their customers. The cleanliness is a 10/10, and the quality is outstanding. “I saw that one review from the person saying their oxtail was bad, but saw a plethora of positive reviews standing against it. I decided to give them a go and do NOT regret it! Lovely little spot for a late night meal! The cashier was very pleasant with a great attitude. I came by after finding my Airbnb and ordered 3 empanadas: Jerk Chicken, Salmon, & Oxtail. This is not a standard menu option, but she told me I could mix and match :)
I loved it!!! WONDERFULLY tasty food and a perfect crisp to the empanadas - not too hard and not too soft/mushy. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!“

“I wish I got pictures of the food but it was devoured too quickly! I had the pleasure of working with Chef Nicola on a recent catering order for a community event. The food was delicious and it was clear that a lot of care was put into the food and presentation. It was also great to support a local woman-owned small business instead of the many generic chains in the area. I highly recommend their services!“

“Truly an excellent experience if you want authentic Jamaican patties. Flaky, flavorful, savory, and delicious. Great price, amazing customer service. As far as beef patties, for myself I believe it’s on par with Kingston Tropical Bakery in the Bronx, just my personal opinion. Definitely worth it“

“We live in Pa but my husband works in Ny! So I call n place the order for him to bring the food home n I must say this is the best Jamaican food ever! They give you large portions, cabbage n rice always fresh, jerk chicken n oxtails is 💯 I will continue to buy from here & they are very friendly when you call to place order over phone!!“

“I absolutely love this spot! Any time I am in the Bronx I have to stop in and get my favorite curry chicken with rice(lathered in that curry gravy) and peas and cabbage😋…. My wife’s favorite dish is the oxtail with rice and peas and cabbage of course. Their fried chicken goes well with brown stew chicken gravy. I’ve had their jerk chicken, curry goat, brown stewed chicken, Mac and cheese is also really good. I have been meaning to try the salmon and their shrimp, I think that will be next. I will say aside from that, you can expect friendly service. Atmosphere is calming 🤗 did I say I love this place? 😬“

“I had no problems here. Prices were excellent for the two meals and the portions I received were more than enough. Location is perfect since it's right near the train station. So if you're in a rush, they'll definitely take care of you. Coming here again for sure.“

“They hooked me up! Delicious food; good portions. I usually get oxtail from Jamaican restaurants. I'd say it's one of the top of the restaurants I've eaten from.
That said, oxtail is generally an expensive meat to buy and can be hard to cook right. So, it can be difficult to find places like this that give you a decent amount. And I've orderd from them a few times, so I can say their potion size is generally consistent from what I've seen.“

“I found myself in Harlem a few days on Saturday with a lady friend of mine and we were starving, Good thing we stopped in Caribbean Fiesta they charge you by the pound and the food was great we got Curry Chicken And oxtail and I must say that's some of the best oxtail I've ever tried I'll definitely be back for more the next time I'm in Harlem“
“I absolutely LOVE the food. I got a plate with oxtails, rice & peas, plantains and he makes sure your plate is full. Everything tasted like it was seasoned perfectly, the gravy was surprisingly light and delicious. I’m 1000% going back.
I sincerely doubt the bad reviews are from him, the plates aren’t even the same. I met his Mom too and she was really sweet! Made the experience even better ?

“We went here for my birthday February 2020!!! The food, drinks and staff were AMAZING!!! I HIGHLY recommend this restaurant and can’t wait to go back! “This is a small place but let me tell you the curry goat with rice and peas and cabbage With extra curry goat sauce YUMMYYYY.?. Also the J*** chicken with rice cabbage and curry goat sauce. OMG..I'VE been coming to this place for about a year and the food is always on point. 5 stars for me!“

“I like that they offer a $10 lunch special, including veg and plantain with a soda...but it's only chicken. But seriously...you not gonna oder just that! You gotta get a patty or festival or something else that catches your eye. I had the curry chicken (a little spice but good) and a beef patty, bc they were out of chicken. I ate almost everything...and I don't feel bad about it! Will visit again, but try to avoid the out of school kids.“

“Jerk chicken this weekend was great. Time before this was terrible. I have been here several times and it is seemingly hit or miss. Depends on who cooked the food. Jerk chicken, cabbage and plantains. All delicious this time. Hopefully it can remain consistent as its a treat when its good.

Patties most times good…had a couple of misses. Too mushy on the misses. They actually don’t do too bad with mac n cheese which is a first for me from a WI restaurant. Its not great but its not at all bad.
Overall, we will continue to support. The cashiers are always very pleasant as well…especially the young man…he is refreshingly delightful. IYKYK when it comes to the Jamaican spots….“
