“This place was recommended to me by a Jamaican woman. She mentioned the food was the best in the area (there are a number of other Jamaican restaurants in the area) but they can run out of food and it gets busy at lunch times, so I avoided it. Today I tried and we found parking lot made parking easy. Service was prompt and the food was much better than some of other places nearby including a chain restaurant. Jerk pork was very tender and the rice and beans were excellent. Others in our party loved the chicken and shrimp pasta specials. Will have to try some other dishes. (I worked nearby but never tried it sooner because I was warned about crowds but it was not that crowded and we were served promptly. I would not go for atmosphere but the servers were friendly.“

“My opinion is 8.7/10. Is it the best Jamaican beef patty I've ever had? No but overall our place that makes handmade Jamaican beef patties with a good overall flavor I recommend it. “I saw that one review from the person saying their oxtail was bad, but saw a plethora of positive reviews standing against it. I decided to give them a go and do NOT regret it! Lovely little spot for a late night meal! The cashier was very pleasant with a great attitude. I came by after finding my Airbnb and ordered 3 empanadas: Jerk Chicken, Salmon, & Oxtail. This is not a standard menu option, but she told me I could mix and match :)

I loved it!!! WONDERFULLY tasty food and a perfect crisp to the empanadas - not too hard and not too soft/mushy. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!“

“This place has amazing Jamaican food! We have tried the mild beef patties, oxtail, jerk chicken and chicken curry. The meals come with a cabbage- vegetable blend and fried plantains. The owner gives so much food and is very friendly, but the food is so flavorful, hot and delicious! We come back here a few times a month. “I absolutely LOVE the food. I got a plate with oxtails, rice & peas, plantains and he makes sure your plate is full. Everything tasted like it was seasoned perfectly, the gravy was surprisingly light and delicious. I’m 1000% going back.
I sincerely doubt the bad reviews are from him, the plates aren’t even the same. I met his Mom too and she was really sweet! Made the experience even better ?

“They hooked me up! Delicious food; good portions. I usually get oxtail from Jamaican restaurants. I'd say it's one of the top of the restaurants I've eaten from.

That said, oxtail is generally an expensive meat to buy and can be hard to cook right. So, it can be difficult to find places like this that give you a decent amount. And I've orderd from them a few times, so I can say their potion size is generally consistent from what I've seen.“

My wife’s favorite dish is the oxtail with rice and peas and cabbage of course. Their fried chicken goes well with brown stew chicken gravy. I’ve had their jerk chicken, curry goat, brown stewed chicken, Mac and cheese is also really good. I have been meaning to try the salmon and their shrimp, I think that will be next. I will say aside from that, you can expect friendly service. Atmosphere is calming 🤗 did I say I love this place? 😬“

“I like that they offer a $10 lunch special, including veg and plantain with a soda...but it's only chicken. But seriously...you not gonna oder just that! You gotta get a patty or festival or something else that catches your eye. I had the curry chicken (a little spice but good) and a beef patty, bc they were out of chicken. I ate almost everything...and I don't feel bad about it! Will visit again, but try to avoid the out of school kids.“
