“This place was recommended to me by a Jamaican woman. She mentioned the food was the best in the area (there are a number of other Jamaican restaurants in the area) but they can run out of food and it gets busy at lunch times, so I avoided it. Today I tried and we found parking lot made parking easy. Service was prompt and the food was much better than some of other places nearby including a chain restaurant. Jerk pork was very tender and the rice and beans were excellent. Others in our party loved the chicken and shrimp pasta specials. Will have to try some other dishes. (I worked nearby but never tried it sooner because I was warned about crowds but it was not that crowded and we were served promptly. I would not go for atmosphere but the servers were friendly.“

“My opinion is 8.7/10. Is it the best Jamaican beef patty I've ever had? No but overall our place that makes handmade Jamaican beef patties with a good overall flavor I recommend it. “After moving to Bergen County I was on a mission to find the best Jamaican food spot. I’m from Queens, NY and I miss my South Ozone Park / West NY food.

I go to a gym nearby and just randomly found this spot and thank goodness I did.

The food is really good, everything is well balanced in terms of flavor and the hospitality is great.

We’ve all seen that “we don have dat” video and this is the opposite. If he doesn’t have it, give him a minute to work his magic. Your patience will be rewarded.

If you like good seasoned food, just give it a try, you won’t be disappointed. I know I wasn’t. I’ll be coming here every time I crave oxtails and fried chicken.“

“Popped in for some food after hitting the pool - everything was so fresh. I got the fritura and was blessed with a massive portion of fried, fresh, incredible meats, cheese, and plantains. The chicken was so moist and juicy, the chicharron was deeply flavorful and had me floored; truly so fresh, tasted like a mama made it for me. Lovely little spot for a late night meal! The cashier was very pleasant with a great attitude. I came by after finding my Airbnb and ordered 3 empanadas: Jerk Chicken, Salmon, & Oxtail. This is not a standard menu option, but she told me I could mix and match :)

The owner was very accommodating in short notice. The buffet that was laid out was just what we ordered. Place was very clean and the service from the staff was amazing. Really can’t say enough about that part. From the picking up of finished plates, them coming around with multiple fruit options, opening up for us 20 mins early so we weren’t in the blazing sun, and the show of support in our time of grieving.
