Gregory was not just a waiter, he became such a great host for our table! The food!!!! Oh my goodness! The Jerk Salmon was cooked to perfection and don’t get me started on the Jerk Egg Rolls! “I literally just ordered from here; the diri djoun djoun with fried chicken and a side of macaroni au gratin…. They also gave a fresh side green salad. Out of the whole meal my favs were the fried chicken(well down like I like it) the diri djoun djoun was bomb!!! And the salad was soooo fresh and delicious. TO ME AND I SAY TO ME cause everyone’s taste buds are different I didn’t like the macaroni au gratin too much cause one it had ground beef or turkey in it hard to tell being that it was well marinated into the macaroni au gratin and also in my opinion it was a lil dry (once again this is my opinion cause some might find it to be just right, whereas I like that oily and fattening macaroni au gratin taste). But do not not order it guys cause your guys may choose to differ when it comes to the macaroni au gratin. But other than that I enjoyed the food. Been a while since I had haiatian food that actually taste like Haitian food. Oh ye the ambiance is to die for fancy and upscale AF!!!! Definitely got themselves a loyal customer! ♥️“
“UPDATE:My opinion on how delicious the Rasta pasta is remains unchanged.My partner disputed the extra $15 with Uber, who immediately credited it back. They said they would honor the complaint after we sent a screenshot of the cost on the restaurant website (18.97 vs. $33.79), but stated that they would be contacting the restaurant to adjust their Uber settings because Uber did not add the $15 charge, and it’s the restaurant’s responsibility to adjust it because they do not collect that extra fee for themselves.Hopefully it all gets sorted soon. I’m super particular about my Rasta pasta and this one fits the bill. It’s well seasoned, has a nice amount of yummy sauce. The only thing I’d say is that it’s $17 to add chicken, so for a $33 plate, it should be bigger. I pay that much (or less) for a family size helping of anything at any other restaurant. “Hopefully rabid mobs won't do a "French Laundry" attack on my hypocrisy for sometimes avoiding places that have 3 stars yet saying the consensus is wrong on Masha & Harry's. (Minor annoying note - if you type in Taste of the Caribbean, its formal name on Uber Eats, Yelp search doesn't show it...which will be my excuse when defending the subpar page views of this post). The chicken curry from a previous order was good, maybe not better than Flatbush but I haven't been to Flatbush in forever. The revelation was today's order of doubles and bake and salt fish. For the doubles, you'll want to check the boxes for the pepper and tamarind sauces. One negative review complains about the amount of salt fish in the bake. I thought this was a brilliant sandwich. The cabbage and other vegetable items indeed have more surface area but everything was in harmony. I'll remind you that Hannibal Lecter was only in The Silence Of The Lambs for 16 minutes.“
“I really enjoyed the jerk chicken and cabbage, it was amazing! My son had fried chicken and a fried dumpling, he said it was delicious. My only complaint is the white rice, it was a little too overcooked. Overall, I would definitely eat here again?“
“Never been a fan of this chain but decided to stop by at this one today and I’m so glad I did! The staff was phenomenal and so helpful with me coming with a special needs kid in a stroller and the food was off the charts good! I’ll definitely be back at this location again ?“
