“This was our second time having dinner there. We had a great dining experience the first time which caused us to celebrate our wedding anniversary the second visit. They sat us in the same booth from our original visit which gave us the same server. She was excellent the first time as well as the second. The food was wonderful and the executive chef came out and introduced himself to us (nice touch). We plan on taking some friends with us the next time we go. Nice job Coco's!“
“I visited Sarrah's on a trip to NJ with my son and it was such a pleasant, happy experience! I felt like being at an aunt's house in Trinidad. Sarrah sat us down and served us her delicious doubles! She brought us an Apple J to go with it then kept checking on us to make sure we didn't need anything else. Her hospitality was impeccable and I was left with total admiration for the service and quality of Trinidadian food I received. I will definitely return.“
“Omg! I had the delightful pleasure of trying the red snapper in sauce. It was excellent!! The serving portions are large, as I share with four of my family and friends. “Great vibes! My partner is Guyanese and I’m plain black American and I love the carribean vibes! Food is amazing. Servers are super sweet and attentive. If you don’t like carribean vibes this isn’t the place for you. I’d come every weekend if I could afford it !“
“Minus one star for the hairs kind of a turn off (gross) but hey doesn’t get any fresher than that as if they killed it in the back lol… good food tho I was recommended by a customer and this is my honest review. You walk in it def old school vibes the smell of burnt smoky goodness! The pork was good the sauce was good. They have huge amounts of chopped meat in the back on the bone which was cool! I also had the bread pudding but ehh hard pass.. definately one of a kind place everyone should visit all the restaurants over 4.0 ratings in east orange it means they are doing something right!“
“Alice's is the only place that I eat curry goat! Its so delicious..melts in your mouth. The customer service is always very pleasant anytime I visit. My schedule doesn't allow me to come here frequently, but its always the same! Kudos to the Big man too?“
“My friend picked up a variety of food.. we tried oxtail, curry chicken, rice, Callao and salt fish, okra fried dumplings.. everything was absolutely delicious and freshly made and piping hot. I will definitely be back again. Really enjoyed lunch today!“
“The food was absolutely delicious. We had many orders to place and it took no time to get us in and out. The food wasn’t hot but the portion size was MWAH which made up for that! The customer service was good. The smoothies was great. The smoothies weren’t the thickest bur flavor was there. The prices for our meals were unbeatable. I have not seen prices like that in a while so we had to take advantage. It seem like it is a staple in the community because after getting our orders there were a line out the door. They just earned a repeat customer! Glad I was able to experience some bomb Caribbean food.“
“Was there last night celebrating a friend’s birthday and we all had a time. The food was amazing, the music was fantastic, and the owner is the sweetest. The restaurant is fairly new so, when you walk in please be patient. It’s only the owner and one other woman working there at the moment, but I promise the wait is worth it! Sasha makes you feel a part of the community the moment you step foot inside her restaurant. You just have to be there to understand!“
