“I'm not from NJ, but I accidentally drove 40 mns to this place because I was craving haitian food. All I can say is I was not disappointed!
It started with their customer service, because when I realized how far it was and wanted to cancel, they offered to drive it to me, which I declined but was nice of them nonetheless.
The food was fresh, super delicious and on the large order, they give you enough food to feed you twice. The macaroni salad was great, duri djondjon was awesome and the Tasso kabrit was excellent. If you're in Irvington or close by, this is one spot that I'd definitely recommend!“

“Edit: When I got home, I warmed the food up and ate it. After warming, the chicken WAS stewed, and was so flavorful.. Food was delicious!
I stopped here for my lunch while on route with my job. The customer service is good! The food was ok tho. I got a small stew chicken, and the chicken wasn’t really stewed. My was very cold, as if it has been in the fridge, but my rice and beans were fresh and hot. Wasn’t digging that. Also the chicken wasn’t as flavorful as I thought it was going to be. Wanted to give 5 stars because I support Black Business of all nations/ cultures, but serving me cold chicken is gets a bad review. Other than that, it was ok.“
“Selman restaurant nan Irvington ki gen bon manje ayisyen, manmi an pwop anpil, e lè li la li bay bon service. Selman pate yo ki kem pa renmen paske yo manke sòs men tout manje yo bon.The only best Haitian restaurant in Irvington, cause of the quality and cleanliness. The patties are not all that. When they owner is there service is spectacular.Keep in mind this was Sunday dinner“

“The best! This place is a staple in Elizabeth. At Two Brothers, you get the real American breakfast experience. What a wonderful feeling to walk back to my little breakfast joint and to enjoy this guys’s cooking. Thank you for the love you put into this. I love your business!“
“Juliana's Place, hands down; the best Haitian restaurant I've ever eaten at. The food there is simply amazing! My personal favorites are their lalo & turkey. So If you're ever in the Irvington area, do yourself a favor, stop by & try anything on their menu & you won't regret it!! You can thank me later“
“I think her food is consistently good. Do not let the overall appearance of the restaurant dispickles. or stop you from getting your take out. I just wish they would understand how important it is for a restaurant to look attractive to the potential customer. I especially love her fried turkey topped with her delicious picklys.“

“The sauce meat rice was great. Sauce was quite greasy which I wasn't surprised, nothing a little spooning out most of the grease wouldn't fix. Easy, no complaints. I was drooling, felt like I got transported back to haiti lol. Only issue I have is place needs upgrades, I would like to see some menus and prices beforehand. I would call to help save a few minutes if I knew what they regularly cook on Saturdays. Although there's a picture online, I can't actually see it cause lots looks blurry. But I was told in time they'll have that done. Place is small so don't expect much. As long as you go there for some good food, I recommend.“

“Love the food here! The restaurant atmosphere is very inviting and date friendly but most importantly CLEAN! Every time I come for my favorite Haitian dish the flavors never disappoint. What’s truly important as well is that their hours of operation and food availability is pretty consistent which is more than I can say for most Caribbean spots. Tap Tap has my vote! Great Job ??

“Ordered a 3 tier cake at La Baguette in Elizabeth to be picked up here, for me to arrange it myself with my own decorations since the party was in Connecticut the following day, and they did a great job working with me. It was very tasty and great texture (even after being in the fridge overnight for the party the next day)“
“The food was great, but if you're looking for the restaurant's name, you'll be going in circle. They've moved and are using a completely different name (Mant-lo Provision Alimentaire) which is the last building on the left.“

“I've been ordering from here for years. Food is great! I've had problems in the past with customer service but not now. It only takes me 10-15 minutes to get my food whether I walk in and order or call first. The food is always fresh. They always give me extra pickeles. I'm spoiled.“

“I woke up this morning at 7 am to meet someone in Newark. I didn't get a chance to eat breakfast.
I was leaving the wells fargo across the street and noticed that there is a bakery across the street
So I decided to walk across the street and find out what options they have
At first I was greeted by a beautiful lady that asked how my day was
I then decided to scan around and see their options
I wanted a Crossant, Muffin and then she asked me if I wanted hot chocolate or coffee and I like hot chocolate personally so I went with that option
Then I asked her if she recommends the chicken or beef patty. She loves all of them, heh what a joy. She recommended the spicy, but then said you sure you want to order it. I was like I'm Hispanic I love spicy. We had a laugh. I understand some people don't like spicy or can't handle it. But honestly it was just the right ting that made it taste so good. Mind orgasm from the food hahah
This croissant with hot chocolate mixture is so mmmmmm good
10 out of 10 recommended
Thank you Lady who i wish i got her name to add it to the review
One more then I got all of this for 9 dollars, better than Starbucks breakfast“

“I'm often disappointed by the Caribbean food here in the States--it is almost never as flavorful as what you get in the islands...I recently stopped in to Kinanm on other business and smelled the wonderful aroma of the food. The owner kindly let me sample some food and....my quest to find good Caribbean food in NJ has ended! Flavorful, hearty, and fresh, generous portions, too...I will definitely be back. The owners are friendly and kind...if you are looking for some good Creole food, kinanm is the place to go!“

“This is my family's go-to spot for Haitian cuisine. This place never disappoints. I had to write a review because we ordered again last night and even with me being sick and not being able to smell it taste I was able to smell and taste the food last night. So full of flavor and delicious.“

“My daughter recommended theirMirliton. She told me it had beef in it. I went to the restaurant. Ordered and asked for a side of fried plantain instead of rice. I did ask what kind of meat was in it and the lady DID answer in creole. She said cushon ?. Why did I think that meant beef? Anyway. That food was ROCKIN. Until I realized it was not beef. It was too late. I ate around the meat since it was too late and side eyed the meat while I ate the fried plantains. So imma call ahead and ask for a custom order next time. I’ll pay whatever she want. To make it pork Free. It was that good. Worth paying extra for custom next time. Even if i gotta get a big order, split it up and freeze it.“

“Two Brothers Bakery/restaurant in Elizabeth, NJ was a delightful surprise. I went in for a some patties and ended up leaving with a bag full of goodies! The lady at the counter was incredibly friendly and helpful, which is a refreshing change from some Haitian restaurants I've been to.
The patties tho! These were some of the best I've had – perfectly fluffy, full with flavor, and absolutely delicious. Reminds me of the patties from the late 90s in Haiti. If you're a fan of savory pastries, Two Brothers Bakery is a must-visit.
Overall, the experience was so positive that I'll definitely be back next time I'm in North Jersey. Two Brothers Bakery is a hidden gem that deserves all the praise!“

“Place is spacious and clean. The personnel staff is friendly, courteous and professional. The food is nutritious, delicious and the price is reasonable. My favorite meal is the soup joumou on Sunday. The portion is big enough to last me the entire day. I will definitely invite my guests to eat at the restaurant. Mathieu
