“The food at Djondjon is spot on.... This restaurant is a jewel. The food is amazing, and the hospitality is off the chart. There is free jazz often enough. The quality far surpasses the price. I love their pasta, their fish and their goats which come in various varieties. Their appetizers are yummy. I will continue to patronize this place. I had my Cabrit boukannen ( grilled goat) and it really pleased my taste buds.“

First, the customer service is great! Not your typical Caribbean restaurant experience. They speak both English and Haitian Creole, so ordering is fast and easy.

The food is COVERED! This makes a huge difference in the quality of the food. It was fresh, flavorful and the portion sizes are large! Nothing was dry, greasy or tasted ‘old’. A rarity!!

Their size small container is the same container as a Chipotle bowl for $10.99. Unheard of for a Caribbean restaurant. The value is unreal.

If you’re in the area and you’re looking for Haitian food, I highly recommend!! I will 100% be back. I hope they pop out on Grubhub!“

“I found out about this place from my cousin. As a Latino I have tried all types of rice from mexican to traditional rice and beans from Puerto Rico and Dominican republic. Also let's not forget Cuba, never have Iv been so addicted to hatian rice in my life. I usually order party tray from them because my whole family takes home extra. “The food was great at BunNan and the service was amazing with Race and Jimmy, they were so accommodating and brought out a candle and a great desert that was bread pudding with cremas drizzled over it!!!!! The food was so good, the plantain sliders, the Tassot rice bowl, the meat was moist, not dry and it was tender. Their secret sauce is definitely a hit and the carmelized onions were amazing. when I inquire about the cuisine. So, when I read great reviews about this restaurant, I was a bit hesitant to go in. I was afraid i might insult me because I don’t speak the language. But to my surprise, she greeted me warmly and asked, “Hello, baby! How can I help you?” behind her it’s a portrait of her loving husband. That has passed away.

I was instantly captivated and didn’t even taste the food. The kindness she showed me made me realize that this place is a haven where food is made with love. Even though I don’t speak the language,

“I stop by there once in a blue Moon due to some duties related to pay a close look on Garbage disposal . There is an outdoors dining ( in quotes ) area & I chill under if it is raining , cold or I need to keep up with my homework.

“I am sure their food, style, pricing approach will provoke debates but I just tried to enjoy every moment. To me, presentation and feeling special plays a part to the whole experience. The food was not bad but i was not going to break down every components on the plates. I have to give credit to the chef to be so creative in how he uses the ingredients. “Beautiful atmosphere! We were visiting Brooklyn NY and was looking for a nice Caribbean restaurant and there was Lago Kache restaurant! The staff were very friendly plus there was beautiful music playing in the background while waiting for our food. The wait wasn’t too long, which was great because we were starving. The only thing I can comment on is the fact that their soft drink menu was limited to 2 or 3 different juices, that’s it! No papaya juice, no soursop juice when I was there. Other than that, I had a really great experience at Kache. Go check them out if you’re in Brooklyn!“
