About La Cachette du Coin

La Cachette du Coin is a restaurant where the ambiance and service are top notch. The food is fresh, well prepared and beautifully presented. The menu includes crab cake, Salmon Wellington, goat, black rice, snapper, cabri, toast, and rum/passion fruit drinks. The crab cake is absolutely delicious and full of flavor. The Salmon Wellington is amazing, and the goat is incredibly tender and tasty. The black rice is especially memorable. The snapper is cooked very well, juicy and not dry. The toast is very flavorful, kind of like soft garlic bread. The goat with rice is surprisingly good, with tender meat that is not dry at all. The chicken falls off the bone and everything has great flavors. The drinks are great, but the menu is limited. The restaurant is well designed, but food smell is all over the table place as it’s an open kitchen but doesn’t have well ventilation. The host gentleman is very attentive and the server/bartender/busgirl/barback holds the place down and does an awesome job. The staff are friendly, attentive, and make the whole dining experience enjoyable. The waiting staff is great and guests can watch the chef plate all the dishes coming out. Plating is beautiful, sauces are delicious, and spices are on point. The only downside is finding parking, which can definitely be a challenge. Food comes out slowly, so be patient. Happy Hour Pre-Fixie is on point. The experience is above average overall, but it is expensive.

We had such a wonderful dinner! We started with the crab cake, which was absolutely delicious and full of flavor. The Salmon Wellington was amazing, and my husband’s goat was incredibly tender and tasty. The black rice was especially memorable, it reminded me so much of home in Haiti 🇭🇹❤️. Everything was beautifully prepared, and we truly enjoyed our experience. We can’t wait to come back!
You can see the kitchen and smell the food. I really appreciate the beet sauce! Bravo Chef!!!
