“A warm welcoming place offering French Creole cuisine from Reunion island. A compact menu offering very reasonably priced apps and mains, and a lot of lentil and rice. Ordered the sampler though a few items we wanted were out. Tender coconut shrimp and beef Bourguignon entrees were excellent. We were well taken care of by the staff.“

“Really good flavors! The tuna toast and leek salad were highlights. Also had the bottled pilsner which was great. Love the space and service as well.
Two notes: 1. I felt the “light” cocktail was a bit too watered down 2. The lamb dish is super flavorful but steep at $50 given portion size“

“Didnt want to post too many snapshots of our dinner because I loved the surprises each dish came with but had to share the most lovely dinner experience I've had in a while. Set in a lovely chic Japanese variety and cookware shop, HOUSE brings a homey but elevated feel in terms of both experience and food. Everyone from the host to the chefs to the service workers were all the kindest and most professional.
The food is phenomenal and teeters between fresh and bright bites to savory and rich dishes. Every dish is well balanced and the textures are amazing. They even included an anniversary dessert and were just the most thoughtful and engaging - definitely worth coming back! Worth every penny and more.“

“It was a very wonderful experience. The restaurant atmosphere is spot on, large with high ceilings, nice decor and comfortable seats. The service is wonderful though I did have a little bit of trouble understanding the explanation of the dishes (but the online menu tells you everything you need to know). The dishes tasted much better in the beginning than towards the end. The veal dish was not very tender. And their duck pie fell a little short on flavor. But very nice touch at the end moving to the couches and having tea/cake. The Polaroid pic at the end was cute.“

“I love this spot! I come here every time I visit New York—it's truly a hidden gem. The goat cheese salad and the French onion soup are absolute classics and always delicious. The service is also 10/10. Carmen was incredibly attentive and sweet, making the whole experience even better. Definitely one of the best restaurants in Brooklyn!“

“Must visit this gem, if you are in the neighborhood. Rich flavors, healthy options, comfort foods and cool drinks throughout all four seasons. The communal tables offer opportunities to mingle with the neighbors, the outdoor patio is a gem and the service is always kind and helpful (even when slammed). No surprise that this place is on the Michelin's mentioned list.“

“While know for their chicken, but it also serves the BEST branzino I’ve ever very had in Brooklyn. (I wish it was a whole fish! Not a filet)
Truly, dangerously good. You won’t even think about what you spend.“

“I'm not a big Google Reviewer but my recent experiences at Le Pistol have compelled me to hop on and leave a review.
The vibe is impeccable and the staff are an absolute joy. Tyler, the bartender, is always especially a great vibe.
Keep the good times rolling. Only complaint is that Le Pistol doesn't open a bit earlier on weekends... love this spot!!“

“I’ve been for a brunch a few times. Was impressed by the warm service and enjoyed the food.
Just had dinner there for the first time which prompted the five stars. I was looking for a cold glass of wine and croquettes.
The ham and cheese croquettes were so good. The $11 wine specials were such a pleasant surprise.
The only con was that I forgot to read the specials and didn’t get the scallops which looked so good. Maybe next time!“

“Stumbled upon this place while walking through Park Slope on a Saturday night and was lucky enough to get a front-window table without a reservation. From the moment we sat down, everything exceeded expectations—the food, atmosphere, music, wine-by-the-glass selection, and especially the service.
We shared the endive salad ( incredible ), escargot, steak with au gratin potatoes, and every dish was outstanding. The quality of the ingredients and the precision of the preparation rivaled that of a 1 star Michelin-starred restaurant.
This restaurant has instantly earned a place in our regular rotation. I can't wait to come back and become a regular.“

“Beautiful restaurant near Fort Greene Park that puts extraordinary care into every part of the menu. High need experience without being too formal. A great place for oysters and a glass of wine or they have a solid app/entree/dessert offering. I love this spot in the winter - super cozy. Get the burger at least once.“

“This place ended up being such a pleasant surprise. The menu had a really nice variety without feeling overwhelming — plenty of different meat cuts, cheeses, salads, sandwiches, and lighter options, so it felt easy to find something that matched whatever mood you’re in.
We started with the French onion soup, and it was honestly one of the better versions I’ve had in a while. The cheese on top was perfectly melted and flavorful without becoming too heavy, and the balance between the broth and onions was done really well. A lot of places overload the onions to the point where the soup loses its depth, but this one kept everything balanced and comforting.
We also ordered a panini-style baguette sandwich, which was fresh, crisp, and packed with flavor. The bread had a great texture, and the mix of vegetables paired really nicely with the vinaigrette and mustard dipping sauces. The sauces actually stood out because they added flavor without overpowering the sandwich itself.
The atmosphere made the whole experience even better. The bright interior, cozy setup, and French snacks lining the walls gave the restaurant a charming café feel that felt both casual and inviting. It had personality without trying too hard to be trendy.
Another highlight was the staff. Everyone was incredibly polite, patient, and genuinely helpful when it came to recommendations. Even with the place staying busy, the food came out surprisingly fast, which made the experience feel smooth from start to finish.
And the Nutella crepe absolutely lived up to expectations. They definitely didn’t hold back on the filling, and it made for a really satisfying dessert to end the meal.
The only small downside is that indoor seating is limited, so I could see it becoming crowded during peak hours. Still, between the quality of the food, the welcoming atmosphere, and the friendly service, it’s definitely a spot worth returning to.“

“S/O to Chef London Chase, of Mango Bay fame, has moved — only a few doors down.
Chef London is flexing his creativity with these “French-Latin fusion” dishes at Sunini.
The space is a cozy brownstone; perfect spot for the winter season. The drinks are fun, the food is delightful, and the vibe is chill.
Go visit!“

“So good, I came twice this week. The ciabatta is light as a cloud! I had the curried tuna sandwich one day and the club the next. Usually cuabatta overwhelms the filling, but not here.
And the beautiful Zebra Cookies, I did not expect the chocolate coating on the back. Understated and delicious!
Next time I am in the neighborhood I'll come for dinner.“

“Came her for the first time to watch the Champions League Final. Us fans had turned it into a defacto Arsenal bar for the day and the staff was not only accommodating, they were happy to welcome us and make it feel like we had always had a home there. When there got to be too many of us they even opened their large pane window doors so we could spill out into the sidewalk and still see the game.
Their service was kind and patient, the food was spot on even with the crowd.
If they were that lovely when fans were screaming at the top of their lungs going through every emotion possible, I can only imagine how it is during a normal day.
10/10 will definitely be back.“

“The artistic, Parisian-Moroccan vibe with great people-watching is always a highlight. Tried the merguez sausage with eggs and Moroccan mint tea both delicious and well-spiced. Service was friendly and efficient. It got busy as expected, but still enjoyable. About $20-30 per person. A reliable favorite in Nolita.“
“I catered from Pistache for my brothers graduation and it was amazing! Yvan was able to make 500 canapés in 2 days notice while respecting my budget. The quality of the food was amazing and Yvan was really nice and delivered it himself. I recommend the mini quiches and the mini salmon sandwich! Would totally cater from him again!“
