“We had a nice time, and the food was good. We were however told to leave as there was another reservation waiting (we were hence offered a drink at the bar which never came), and the doorman got angry at us for opening the door in the wrong way.
So would have been perfect if not for those two departure hick ups sadly.“

“A warm welcoming place offering French Creole cuisine from Reunion island. A compact menu offering very reasonably priced apps and mains, and a lot of lentil and rice. Ordered the sampler though a few items we wanted were out. Tender coconut shrimp and beef Bourguignon entrees were excellent. We were well taken care of by the staff.“

“The service at Levant on Smith was top notch. I only wish the food had been. It was fine but nothing was so tasty that I would go back for more. Even the hot water for my tea was lukewarm. Again, the servers were super and even inquired if we didn't enjoy the meal because we left so much. The food just wasn't that great.“

“Excellent all around dining experience that did not disappoint our much awaited anticipation In a casual and inviting surroundings you are given great innovative food for 9 courses I enjoyed every course with the standouts for me being the baratta cheese. Eggplant and wagu beef.courses The service was very personable and the sake list extensive I enjoyed watching the chef so closely preparing every dish. The limited dining crowd keeps the quality and casual ambience possible. They keep the menu different each season so you can repeat the experience. My only wish is they would have a lunch or other meals with fewer courses as a secondary option so you could enjoy this food more frequently.“

I thought the food was a reasonable price and I would definitely come again. The atmosphere is great too, when we came it was still empty, but when it hit 6:30 there were more people.“

“I went here with a friend on late hours, without any prior reservations. It was 80% full but we still got the table right away. Ordered the drinks, which were pretty good and looked pretty too. We ordered fries with cheese sauce, not really a fan of it. But we also ordered whipped Feta, that one was really good.
I would say the place is more for drinks. Really nice music. It was not live but still the playlist was so good! Perfect place to hang out with friends and couple drinks.“

“Just had dinner at the Third Falcon last weekend. They somehow manage to make exquisite dining also warm, friendly and casual. After devouring a platter of sweet PEI oysters, we had the leek tart, white asparagus tips, cod with root veggies and the wild mushroom gnocchi accompanied by a beautiful white Burgundy. We finished the dinner with a sticky toffee pudding that was the perfect sweet/salty combo. Honestly there is not a single detail that I would have changed. I could have easily imagined having the same meal in the 6ème arondissement in Paris. The lovely owner and chef came by to say hello and check in with us (it helped that I was dining with regulars). If you are looking for somewhere classy yet comfortable, make a rez at The Third Falcon !“

“Such a hidden gem in this neighborhood that is relatively sparse in terms of food. Not only is it run by the sweetest people ever, the food is seriously on point. Have eaten here like 3 or 4 times now since they opened and it’s always delicious. Just has their steak frites (but with gratin instead) and it’s my new favorite. Perfectly cooked and seasoned hanger steak (the best cut for it in my opinion).“

“We miss the old diner but glad it’s open again for American comfort food. We had the beets and artichokes to start that were both simply done but delicious. The limone pasta was the least liked plate. Branzino with beans and steak were also tasty. Their version of Zuni cafe’s chicken was also flavorful. (I ate that chicken at least 1x/month with oysters and a Bloody Mary in SF!) Ultra thin shoestring fries were a hit. If you want bread, ask them for it plain. The toasted one was greasy with oil. “I went here today and had the most delightful lunch with my boyfriend. The co-owner was very welcoming and gave us many suggestions. We split a French onion soup and the duck panini. The co-owner gave us a delicious roasted pepper dip and a mustard sauce that went great with the sandwich. He also ended up giving us a Nutella crepe on the house! The food was great and the co-owner was lovely.“

It’s small and cozy, and the owner personally greeted us at the door, which immediately makes the experience feel special. Add in the fact that it’s BYOB with just a $10 uncorking fee, and it’s hard to beat. The crab and corn chowder was outstanding and one of the best soups we’ve had in a long time. The salmon and sea bass were both great dishes. Needless to say we found a new favorite spot!“
