About BIGTINY

BIGTINY offers a mellow funk jazz chill reminiscent of the 1970s & 80's, creating a relaxed French bistro vibe. The atmosphere feels like a classic French brasserie, with inside and outside seating that can be quiet early or lively by 6:30. Service is warm, friendly, and attentive, though sometimes a bit less attentive. Food consistently hits, with the best steak tartare in the city, fresh oysters, and a rack of lamb that fans love. A watermelon salad was offered as a special but felt overpriced. Happy hour features a $11 glass of wine and a $20 choice of an appetizer with a glass of wine. Overall, the restaurant is a favorite weekend lunch spot with great food and a lively vibe.

If you enjoy the kind of laid back yet trendy bistro, you will love BigTiny. It blends casual, neighborhood comfort with modern stylish design and menu. The food is definitely bistro-like but not your typical old-style French carte you would have seen a hundred times. The tartines are simply excellent. The service is cozy, welcoming, efficient and friendly.
Super fun vibe and the food is super!
I’ve been for a brunch a few times. Was impressed by the warm service and enjoyed the food.
Just had dinner there for the first time which prompted the five stars. I was looking for a cold glass of wine and croquettes.
The ham and cheese croquettes were so good. The $11 wine specials were such a pleasant surprise.
The only con was that I forgot to read the specials and didn’t get the scallops which looked so good. Maybe next time!
