About BADABOOM

Badaboom is a cozy neighborhood restaurant that offers a delightful dining experience with flavorful food, good wine, and inviting atmosphere. The restaurant features low blue ceilings, dim lighting, and an open kitchen where the Parisian rotisserie chicken is a standout, slowly rotating on the spit. The space is filled with unique furniture and art, some created by the chef, adding a personal touch to the ambiance. The menu emphasizes French-inspired dishes, with exceptional items like the Potatoes au Gratin, which boasts a rich, layered texture with butter and cream, and the steak frites, served as hunks of medium-rare beef with a flavorful pan sauce and big, freshly fried fries that soak up the sauces beautifully. The chicken, available as whole or Milanese, is highly praised for its delicious flavor and generous portions, often served with potatoes, gravy, and sides that are not to be overlooked. Other highlights include a chicory salad with almonds and olives, ratatouille, carrots, and rice pudding, which is marshmallowy and whipped cream-like. The restaurant also offers great wines by the glass and a welcoming, friendly staff, making each visit a memorable experience. Whether celebrating a special occasion or enjoying a casual family meal, Badaboom delivers excellent food and a warm, artistic atmosphere that keeps guests returning.

While know for their chicken, but it also serves the BEST branzino I’ve ever very had in Brooklyn. (I wish it was a whole fish! Not a filet)

Truly, dangerously good. You won’t even think about what you spend.

Badaboom nailed it for date night. Cozy, warm ambiance, the kind of place that makes you want to slow down and linger over the meal.

We had the steak and fries, perfectly cooked, fries crisp and golden. The branzino was delicious over potatoes, flavorful, delicate and fresh. Both dishes hit that sweet spot of classic French technique.

The wine selection was genuinely impressive, we went with the Tanca dels Ulls Malvasia, a small-batch organic natural wine from Tarragona,...read full review
