Had a great experience at YUU in Brooklyn with my friend Taylor. From the moment you walk in, it feels like you've been transported to Japan—the atmosphere is peaceful, elegant, and incredibly immersive. Every dish was excellent, showcasing outstanding quality, flavor, and presentation. The service was top tier throughout the entire experience. I highly recommend YUU if you're looking for a truly memorable Japanese dining experience.
We didn’t do the full tasting menu, we did the small menu which was unique and a cool experience. The service was great and chef even came over to serve and make sure everything was great. The lamb was the best we have ever had!
It was a very wonderful experience. The restaurant atmosphere is spot on, large with high ceilings, nice decor and comfortable seats. The service is wonderful though I did have a little bit of trouble understanding the explanation of the dishes (but the online menu tells you everything you need to know).
