“I live walking distance from Bekka’s. When she first opened we had some jerk chicken and oxtail. It was okay but not great. However, this morning I had the ackee and salt fish with banana and yam, and it’s the best I ever had. I grew up in East Orange and have been to various Caribbean restaurants and this was the best Jamaican breakfast ever!“
“2/6/2023. Had a taste for a patty and coco bread and this was the closest place to me and there was good reviews. I got a chicken patty because it wasn't spicy and it was $3.00 the coco bread was $1.00. The beard to the patty was nice and flacky but wasn't falling all over the place it had a decent amount of filling and the coco bread had a nice fresh taste to it, the only issue I have was I tasted more of the coco bread and the outside of the patty more than I tasted the filling of the patty there wasn't much flavor to it.“

“I had Magela’s for the first time today ordered it online through DoorDash and I was tasty ,solid and filling. Recommend the small turkey w/Siri Jon Jon and not too pricey either worth it for sure. I’m also close so the food still super fresh.“
“The food is very cheap, you have some very decent sandwiches at $20 $30 and a sandwich menu with extras starts at 8 euros, and you are extremely satisfied, the treatment is good and pleasant, they try to have a menu of varied drinks for for all tastes.“
“Great food! Awesome j*** flavor and everything was fresh. The mac n cheese wasn't very flavorful or cheesy, but the j*** chicken made up for it. We were able to split a meal because it was so much food. I cannot speak for the physical restaurant because we door dashed but it was amazing!“
