“Very pleasant experience 5 Stars! Today I ordered the Beef Stew with Rice & Peas and Mac & cheese, My husband had the J*** Chicken. Both meals were delicious, well-prepared with lots of flavor, & the portions are Huge! Compliments to the Owners & Cooks! & the very kind owners came outside to help us when our car was having issues, we appreciate their hospitality & kindness. K & D is well worth the visit, give them a try!“

“The food is always fresh, well seasoned with authentic jamaican flavors, and the to go orders are always shared out properly. Today I ordered an oxtail dinner that was by far THE BEST oxtails I've ever have at a restaurant!!! I had to call the restaurant and tell the person that answered the phone how much I enjoyed my meal. The service is always on point as well. The staff is very friendly and professional!! This is the best jamaican restaurant in Essex County NJ. HANDS DOWN!! Food 10 Service 10“

“I love this place. The food is always hot and fresh. Every time I have come to this restaurant I was pleased with the food served. The part that keeps me coming back is not just the food. One morning, I got there at the time of opening. There was a woman praying and she would not open that door til she finished her prayer. Then she proceeded to wipe the place down with Florida. I am not Christian but, I respect that highly. This restaurant is also extremely clean. No matter what time I come into this restaurant, it is always clean. Always. It is best to come when you are not in a rush.“

“I ordered oxtail with rice and peas and mac&cheese the oxtails are 9.5/10 only because it’s fatty but I really love the flavor the mac&cheese is a 7/10 I think it could use some more flavor but it got the right amount of cheese it just need more seasoning and the service was 10/10 got here fast“
