“So far, I have enjoyed Tosh's Patties by Columbus Circle, and through local pickup from their prep kitchen. The patties are fresh and so delicious at any location, and I am eager to see them everywhere. I know Tosh's would never compromise on quality. It doesn't get better than Tosh's Patties! The golden, well-seasoned, laminated dough keeps each patty internally tender, externally crispy and flaky, and is the perfect complement to the flavorful fillings. I like how some of them are more adventurous. There are specials every week along with their comprehensive regular menu. Right now my top two have to be the Ackee and Saltfish, and the vegan jerk mushroom! The jerk mushroom, I tried today, and it left a strong impression on me! I almost wouldn't believe it's vegan given how its dough/crust is as lovely as the non-vegan counterpart. I cannot get Tosh's Patties without getting an Ackee and Saltfish patty whenever it's available, that one is my favorite. The original beef is also fire. So juicy. And the Red Hook Lobster collab (coming soon) is delightful and creamy! I need to branch out and try more flavors, but I love the ones I've tried so much that it's a challenge to get something different!! Tosh's Patties are the best around! Not one recipe is too spicy, and if you want more heat you can add the scotch bonnet honey sauce. Tosh's punch is also not to be missed! Sweet, refreshing, with some warmth from the ginger even though it's nice and cold. It feels like the pineapple, ginger, and citrus all help with my digestion too. And the scotch bonnet honey sauce, that's money!!“

“I noticed the truck in front of Trader Joe’s last sat and saw many people lined up. i saw they were there again i def lined up myself today and let me tell you for $10 the portion you get! You get that fall off the bone jerk chicken and the friendly cashier asked if i want sweet or spicy sauce i asked if i could get both. Everything is great price, quality and service. Theyre really nice, 10/10 customer service! One love needs alot of love bc these people know what theyre doing when it comes to a food truck business!“

“I saw that one review from the person saying their oxtail was bad, but saw a plethora of positive reviews standing against it. I decided to give them a go and do NOT regret it! Lovely little spot for a late night meal! The cashier was very pleasant with a great attitude. I came by after finding my Airbnb and ordered 3 empanadas: Jerk Chicken, Salmon, & Oxtail. This is not a standard menu option, but she told me I could mix and match :)

I loved it!!! WONDERFULLY tasty food and a perfect crisp to the empanadas - not too hard and not too soft/mushy. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!“

“The chef deserves a medal for grinding and cooking in this heat wave in such small quarters. The heat didn't affect his attitude at all though! He was so pleasant. I ordered the small ox tail plate that came with rice and beans and 2 big pieces of sweet plantain. I requested the Jamaican slaw which was a mixture of macaroni and cabbage and seasoning that I loved. The mac n cheese was exactly what a mac n cheese should be. Dense and delicious! “Came to Continent Brooklyn for a late dinner and cocktails with some girlfriends and we had such a good time! The atmosphere is definitely one of the highlights — sexy, grown, and sophisticated without feeling stuffy. There were lots of couples enjoying date night along with a few other groups of girlfriends, and the DJ was great and kept the vibes going all night.

The food was absolutely the star. We shared several dishes, including the oxtail lo mein, salmon, mac & cheese and wings, and everything was flavorful and delicious. We finished with dessert, which was just as good. Definitely come hungry!

The cocktails were probably the one area that didn’t quite live up to the rest of the experience. They weren’t bad, but considering how good the food and overall atmosphere were, I expected the drinks to be a little stronger/better.

That said, we had a great night. Between the food, music, beautiful interior and lively atmosphere, Continent is a great choice for a late dinner, date night or girls’ night out. I would absolutely come back“

The food is consistently delicious and made to order — no food sitting out on a heater waiting for someone to order. My wife’s favorite dish is the oxtail with rice and peas and cabbage of course. Their fried chicken goes well with brown stew chicken gravy. I’ve had their jerk chicken, curry goat, brown stewed chicken, Mac and cheese is also really good. I have been meaning to try the salmon and their shrimp, I think that will be next. I found this wonderful woman, owner of this beautiful restaurant. She was so polite, so helpful, and motivating when I felt like giving up on the event.
