Lucky's Reviews
Food was good, service was good and the portions are good, but the place is very small. There are no tables and chair for you to sit on. It’s really just a takeout.
Food is great & service is great as well. We always stop by whenever we’re visiting New York.
Today I walked into Lucky’s and ordered the stewed chicken and curry chicken. I have no hesitation when saying this might be the best student curry chicken I’ve ever tasted in my life. And believe me this is not my first curry, chicken or stewed chicken. The flavor on both the chickens were impeccable. The chicken was so tender, and could easily be picked off the bone. And the stew and curry complemented the soft rice beautifully. I will definitely be coming to Luckys again....read full review

Lucky's is a popular Caribbean restaurant known for its delicious and affordable dishes. The menu features classics like ackee and saltfish with dumplings, yam and bananas, and stew chicken with rice and peas. The stew chicken is a standout, with tender meat that falls off the bone. The friendly staff and generous portions make it a highly recommended eatery.
Recent customer reviews praise the great-tasting food and reasonable prices. However, some customers have noted that the Rasta Pasta is often unavailable, and the takeout containers could be improved to prevent messy deliveries. Another customer, visiting from out of town, highly recommended the oxtail with white rice and plantain, describing it as "on point" with the right seasoning and flavor.
Overall, Lucky's continues to be a favorite spot for those seeking authentic Caribbean cuisine at a great value.
