I literally just ordered from here; the diri djoun djoun with fried chicken and a side of macaroni au gratin…. They also gave a fresh side green salad. Out of the whole meal my favs were the fried chicken(well down like I like it) the diri djoun djoun was bomb!!! And the salad was soooo fresh and delicious. I thought this was a very cute welcoming spot. This place has got really good potential. Being that this is a haitian establishment, I would have liked to hear some haitian music. They had a live dj which was nice. They had segments where they played afrobeats, reggae and reggaeton. I understand that they want to appeal to a different and broader crowd, however I think it would make this spot even more authentic by showcasing the music. A friend of ours saw this restaurant on IG and was so excited to try it out, only to be met with poor customer service and subpar food. I also hated the fact that we were being recorded without consent for their ig. Our server never checked on us and when he came over he had an attitude with one of our friends for some reason.The atmosphere is nice but I really expected more as someone who really loves Haitian cuisine.
