“Great food, it was tasty. I got the stew chicken and cuban sandwich. The cuban sandwich was great, no changes needed there. However, the stew could've used some achiote to give the chicken some color, it's very pale. Regarding the flavor I wasn't too happy with the kick, never had stew with a kick and this was a first. Would definitely order the cuban sandwich again but unsure about the stew. Overall not bad, good for the price and the portions are satisfying as well.“

Prices are way more than reasonable for the quality of the food that’s prepared for you. I'd been scoping out Ricky's for a few weeks, after I noticed it by accident while walking by.

Wonderful and delicious home kitchen Puerto Rican dishes. I have no idea why this place doesn't have a line out the door all day everyday...probably because of its humble unassuming appearance.

Right now with the price gouging at restaurants and inflation, it's Exhausting going out to eat when you look at the bill.

It felt so good to sit down and have a plate if delicious homecooked food with a bottle of soda for $9.75!

“I had the privilege of stumbling upon this restaurant on a Friday afternoon. To be honest, I was blown away by a couple of things. First, the soup is outstanding. Second, the service is the best within a 10-mile radius, and that’s mainly because of one person: the bartender. Karla is the best in many ways but her smile and effort to make sure I was just ok and smiling was the best. She is by far one of the best service bartenders in the area. Not only did she brighten my day, but she also enhances the entire experience with her smile and exceptional service. If you are lost or even lucky enough to be on this block I dare you to have the best day and ten star experience.. Thank you K and you are all welcome ..“

“Tienen rica comida y batidos a cualquier hora pero la picada no está buena. Tiene muchas papas francesas no tiene chicharrón. No tiene rellena. Y esta muy cara por unos pocos pedazos de pollo y carne!! They have good food and drinks at any time. However la picada is over price for some pieces of meat and chicken and lots of French fries. It’s missing pork (chicharrón) and Colombian sushi (rellena).“

“I loved grilled chicken as it was very well cooked, juicy and just right amount of seasoning, not too greasy. Perfectly fit to my palate. So I might be willing to go for chicken again.

However, pork mofongo was painfully salty. I think mofongo itself was very well executed with garlic flavor in its mashed plaintain, but the pork meat mixed inside seemed to be the faulty one for overwhelmingly salty flavor. I don’t think I would be willing to take anything that is pork related from this restaurant, even if it were ever provided to me free.

It was one of those unsual experiences where I loved one menu so much but hated the other menu so bad at the same time.“

“I always get the roast pork with yellow rice and beans. I love the alcapurrias. The chicken soup is delicious. Sometimes if they have it, I get the pupusas. Everything I've ever ordered here has been delicious. It's tastes home cooked, and fresh. It's too bad I live a couple hours away, or I'd be here every week. It's a very casual place.“
