I found this place on yelp they didn't have the bad reviews so I said let me give it a try because sometimes the reviews look bad, but then I go in the food is good or OK. I had pepper steak and rice, yellow and white mixed together with beans The portion size was OK. The price was the issue $11.75 which would be at normal Spanish restaurants a $8 or $9 platter. Favorite Latin American place in the Heights. It's no frills, cafeteria-style dining, so don't expect white tablecloths and trendy music. It's a good get-in, get-out spot. Pollo asado w yellow rice is great, as are the steak and pork options. Empanadas, when fresh, are exemplary.
