“Im Salvadorian and moved to Bayonne from Queens NY where there’s nothing but amazing Hispanic food! This restaurant is one of the only ones in Bayonne that makes me feel like home. The pupusas are so good ! I was here a few days ago and I’d gladly come again and again. They are made to order so you do have to wait a bit but if you’re in a rush they have a great selection for their hot bar food which is also great my husband loves their sopa de res !“

“Cute spot in the East Village to get a small bite or a coffee. I dropped in on a cold Winter day to get a warm empanada , which was a good idea . I ordered the Papa Con Queso (potatoes and cheese ) which they have to fry up fresh for you (other empanada are not fried.) There are cosy places to sit and several different sauces on the table (i liked the green herb one.) Staff are nice and the empanada was like $3.50. It was crispy and tasty - a nice snack if you're in the area .“

“Pablo Santo just catered our daughter's wedding. This food is THE BEST, Most flavorful and perfectly prepared food! The ceviche was tasty without being too tart. The Wild Boar was tender, with a perfectly balanced gravy. All raged over the plantain stew! Personally the rabbit mole was to die for! Perfectly prepared meals, with quick attentive service! “Great food, it was tasty. I got the stew chicken and cuban sandwich. The cuban sandwich was great, no changes needed there. However, the stew could've used some achiote to give the chicken some color, it's very pale. Regarding the flavor I wasn't too happy with the kick, never had stew with a kick and this was a first. Would definitely order the cuban sandwich again but unsure about the stew. Overall not bad, good for the price and the portions are satisfying as well.“

“We ordered a passion fruit pisco and an original. Those were delicious. The best Piscos I have had!

The fish ceviche was excellent. We ordered additional sweet potatoes to go with it and that was brought to us very quickly.

Later, we ordered 1/2 chicken with yuca frita! It was also delicious! The garlic sauce that accompanied the yuca was the best! The green salsa was also delicious!

The only recommendation for improvement will be:
- Play Latino music - happy music. For an hour, this Peruvian restaurant played hip-hop music. After an hour, they were playing Amanda Miguel songs. Even if you play Peruvian music, it will be fine. Customers go to restaurants for the food and cultural experience. This is why I’m giving them 4 stars instead of 5 for atmosphere.
- Offer some canchita with the drinks. Most Peruvian restaurants offer canchita with the drinks.

“We had a private party at Havana Central. We occupied the upstairs space. We had about 40 people but the space can accommodate more The party coordinator Elaine was so helpful and accommodating. Has such an authentic and home cooked taste to it, could not recommend enough especially with the weather.
