You don’t find Puerto Rican food very often so I wants to try it there in the food court. They have pinchos there which is even less common. I got two chicken ones. That was probably more food than I needed so next time just one. It was pretty tasty and reminded me of Fajardo street vendors. If you do get pinchos, know it takes 15 minutes.
Found on google El Jibarito in Newport Centre, Jersey City. Did not expect such great tasting Puerto Rican food in a Mall. I had the pernil with arroz con gandules and maduros. My husband had the ropa vieja arroz and maduros. The food and service was a definite 5 Stars. Treat yourself to some good eating if you happen to be at the Mall. El Jibarito will not disappoint.
Top tier Spanish Food highly suggest the sandwich’s followed by main cuisine everything full of flavor!!
