Mendoza Restaurant is one of the only restaurants in Bayonne that makes customers feel like home. The pupusas are so good and made to order, so there is a wait. Everything is always tasty. The hot bar food is also great, including the sopa de res. Service can be a problem, as they never pick up the phone even when not busy. However, first-time visitors received really good attention from a waitress who managed everything alone.
