Had such a great experience at Maximilianos Cafe. The quality of service was great and the food was fantastic! Extremely flavorful and fresh with great presentation. True authentic Costa Rican cuisine.

Based on the reviews, Baldi Cafe is a hidden gem in Linden offering excellent and authentic Costa Rican food. The staff makes customers feel welcomed and treated like family, providing great service from the moment they walk in. The food is absolutely incredible, with dishes like choriadas packed with flavor, fresh and soft tamales, and camarones seasoned to perfection. Breakfast sandwiches are among the best around, fresh and filling. Other menu items include the hearty Pinto with Beef Stew, Pinto Baldi, and Sopa de Tripa. While the Pork Tamal tasted oddly processed and dry, the big platters of perfectly cooked rice and beans, mouth-melting stew, and gloriously fried plantains are recommended. The cafe also offers dog-friendly outdoor seating in a spacious patio. Prices are very reasonable, with a Cuban sandwich and delicious pupusa costing only $16. The space is very nice, clean, and tucked off the main road, giving it a very local feel. Baldi Cafe is a must-visit for great food, amazing staff, and an all-around great vibe.
