“First time here and the service was outstanding! The young lady was patient and so pleasant. The food looked beautiful and the presentation was excellent! My food was delicious I don’t eat meat so I had two types of rice, vegetables and both beans they had. My daughter had their quarter chicken with rice and beans. The prices are dirt cheap which is surprising considering the economy. I’ll return for sure!!!“

“Dominican food, and what a treat! Large selection a la cantina (pick & mix), lots of stables and a joyful mood. I think i heard someone singing somewhere...But again; the food. Big flavours, hearty chunks of meat, crunchy salads, spiced rice. What a feast to the senses.A rare 5-star!“

“Food is good, hit or miss on what's in the trays volume wise. The ladies English is so so, hard to communicate sometimes. Also there should be a line so that it's orderly. People just stroll in like they own the pace (the regulars I guess) and cut in front of people. They need a better ordering system. Also there's no posted prices, but the prices were reasonable.“

“Great food and great service. The food reminds me of home and is reasonably priced. We keep coming back for the ox tail stew, ribs, beef steak, porkchops, dumplings and the boneless chicharonnes de pollo. Most meals are served with white or yellow rice and beans or vegetables. If you want to try something different, they have the beef liver and squid ink fried rice which remind me of squid ink Paella. The combination meals are a great option to try out different dishes. The staff and owners always greet you with a warm welcome.“

“We ate in complete silence. The food was that good.


- The chicken was so moist and packed so much flavor. Even the breast was super moist.
- The green sauce that they gave with the chips was also a hit. We went through two batches of it in one sitting, lol
- The salad and dressing were balanced, simple, and fresh.
- The salchipapa (fries with sausage and dressing) was one of our favorite dishes. Really simple with punchy flavor. Fries were nice and crispy despite being loaded with stuff.
- We had a purple corn beverage that was also so tasty


- Our server was so sweet and friendly!


- Humble, colorful, friendly atmosphere
- The only reason I subtracted 1 star was because the photos on the menu were digitally staged, making them hard to read

“I highly recommend this driving school. For my son 17 years old the instructor Ayub teach him nicely and within short time and less driving lessons my son was able to drive perfectly. Today my son pass the road test and I am happy. As an instructor Ayub is the best and I suggest all of the student try at once and I believe you guys won’t regret it. “I ordered dinner yesterday and came back for breakfast today. I ordered Tres Golpes (Mangu, salami, fried cheese, and fried egg) which is a Dominican breakfast, two guava y queso empanadas and a coca cola. The breakfast was very authentic and flavorful. The empanadas were good too. The staff is very attentive, greets you and takes your order as soon as you walk in. The place is very nice inside and you can grab a table to sit down and dine in if you want. The breakfast is better than the lunch and dinner in my opinion.“

It’s definitely going to raise eyebrows, but let me tell you, the place looks fabulous you walk into a standard gas station convenience store, turn right it’s a wrapped up beautiful fully running restaurant.

Food portions are MASSIVE! A platter with pernil, congris $15 , 2 people can eat from this- or at the very least you’ll have leftovers- unless you’re bougie . The Pollo Guisado was juicy and tender not rock chicken, penil was good. The beans are absolutely scrumptious. We legit got 3 platters, extra rice beans, extra maduro, guineo and a morir soñando (freshly made to order!) check didn’t go past $60 .

“DELICIOUS! Best mofongo & chicharron in Manhattan. Takes exactly like the one in PR that my family serves me. Everything is so flavorful and juicy and the chicharron is so incredibly crispy but still fatty. Was perfect for takeout and I’ll def be going back all the time“

“Only 4 tables and 12 seats but maaaan this food is the bomb. I grew up eating stews and rice for lunch in far away lands and this hits the spot. I think I inhaled my giant plate in 2 min. “I ordered from two good to go, which is an app that gives you discounted meals for less at the end of the night. They gave me liver which I’m not a fan of liver, but I gave it to a friend. I got potato salad. That was delicious a soup with pork in it and vegetables, rice and beans and a vegetable dish with okra and plantains. I will try out their fried chicken soon everything was packaged very good and the place looks very clean. A+

“The food is extremely good. The place itself is a bit hot and cramped. They're cash only. Portions are bigger if you eat in (way too much to finish) but God value either way. For my money, it's the best well-rounded meal in midtown.“

“Stopped here out of curiosity and we were not disappointed. The cheapest and yummiest Dominican food Ive had in NJ so far!

We got 2 lunches of white rice and stew chicken, 2 orders of beans and an order of sweet plantains. Total: $22! They serve SOOOO much food, we had left overs. My plate in the photo is after me eating quite a bit already. We then went back and got 2 tres leches, each were $3.50. Very yummy, I highly recommend this restaurant. In regards to customer service they were so sweet, professional and attentive. I wish this business lots of good fortune and will spread the word. They are amazing.“
