My food was delicious I don’t eat meat so I had two types of rice, vegetables and both beans they had. My daughter had their quarter chicken with rice and beans. The prices are dirt cheap which is surprising considering the economy. I’ll return for sure!!!“

“Great food and great service. The food reminds me of home and is reasonably priced. We keep coming back for the ox tail stew, ribs, beef steak, porkchops, dumplings and the boneless chicharonnes de pollo. Most meals are served with white or yellow rice and beans or vegetables. If you want to try something different, they have the beef liver and squid ink fried rice which remind me of squid ink Paella. The combination meals are a great option to try out different dishes. The staff and owners always greet you with a warm welcome.“

“The music was very load and playing Rihanna. I don’t have a problem with her at all but it’s a Peruvian restaurant and was July 28th Peruvian Independence Day. I was expecting maybe some folklore something Peruvian. I asked the waitress to please lower the volume and she did but only a bit. I thanked her and at least we were able to conversarte. I asked for a big bottle Inca kola be side I saw they had some but I was told they can only serve small cans to the table. I think the place should offer the big bottles be side I had to arder like six cans and it’s bad for the environment.
None of these things are the waitresses fault. These are the owners rules.

It was better than the big advertised restaurants. If you want a real delicious meal and some great music while you eat, go to this place. It's a hidden gem.“

Today my son pass the road test and I am happy. As an instructor Ayub is the best and I suggest all of the student try at once and I believe you guys won’t regret it. It’s definitely going to raise eyebrows, but let me tell you, the place looks fabulous you walk into a standard gas station convenience store, turn right it’s a wrapped up beautiful fully running restaurant.

Food portions are MASSIVE! A platter with pernil, congris $15 , 2 people can eat from this- or at the very least you’ll have leftovers- unless you’re bougie . The Pollo Guisado was juicy and tender not rock chicken, penil was good. The beans are absolutely scrumptious. We legit got 3 platters, extra rice beans, extra maduro, guineo and a morir soñando (freshly made to order!) check didn’t go past $60 .

“Only 4 tables and 12 seats but maaaan this food is the bomb. I grew up eating stews and rice for lunch in far away lands and this hits the spot. I think I inhaled my giant plate in 2 min. “I ordered from two good to go, which is an app that gives you discounted meals for less at the end of the night. They gave me liver which I’m not a fan of liver, but I gave it to a friend. I got potato salad. That was delicious a soup with pork in it and vegetables, rice and beans and a vegetable dish with okra and plantains. I will try out their fried chicken soon everything was packaged very good and the place looks very clean. A+

This place is excellent. We tried a couple things the chicken legs with rice, pernil with rice and beans, maduros, and everything came out great. Flavorful, not dry, and delicious.

“I got married on 5/25/25 and the very next day we were having a BBQ. With no time to cook I decided to cater. I ordered from Caribbean Station and it was amazing. It was fresh and so delicious, everyone talked about the food. Since then I have catered my Labor Day BBQ and next will be my daughter’s baby shower. They are the best!“

“Bridge Coffee Shop is one of those places where you don't so much look at the menu as you have a back and forth with the person behind the steam table about what's good today. Not an introvert's paradise. I ordered the baked chicken with rice for $10. They give you about a quarter of a chicken and I made the rookie mistake of not asking for dark meat so I did have to power through a pretty dry breast situation.“

“I visited Bachata y Merengue Restaurant and would rate it 3/5 stars.

The food was okay, but I think it could definitely be better. My boyfriend ordered the meatballs, and they were too salty. The spaghetti was bland and needed more flavor. I ordered the rice and chicken, which were decent, but I would give them a 6/10 overall.

The restaurant itself felt very quiet and empty. There wasn’t any music playing, which made the atmosphere feel less inviting. I also noticed there were no desserts available, and the refrigerator looked mostly empty with very few drink options.

The buffet is small and offers mostly basic dishes, so there isn’t a lot of variety to choose from.

Overall, it wasn’t a bad experience, but I think the food, atmosphere, and menu selection could all be improved.“

The food there is amazing, the ladies there make you feel welcome and at home (memories of my many trips ton D R) with excellent service. “Stopped here out of curiosity and we were not disappointed. The cheapest and yummiest Dominican food Ive had in NJ so far!

We got 2 lunches of white rice and stew chicken, 2 orders of beans and an order of sweet plantains. Total: $22! They serve SOOOO much food, we had left overs. My plate in the photo is after me eating quite a bit already. We then went back and got 2 tres leches, each were $3.50. Very yummy, I highly recommend this restaurant. In regards to customer service they were so sweet, professional and attentive. I wish this business lots of good fortune and will spread the word. They are amazing.“

“I always pop in to this place for a very specific item which is guisao de berenjena Stewed Eggplant. which is my all time favorite I ever had in this place next to the chicken noodle soup which I would get even on a hot summer day.. I like to eat light vegetable based meals that are healthy and they have them, I would just like to see more consistency with the menu and the food quality sometimes on some days the food is fresher than others. “When I tell you that not only is the food delicious they also have a heart of Gold!!! I hired them to cator my daughters baby shower. Unfortunately 2 days before our event my daughter had to undergo an emergency csection. They didn’t hesitate to refund me the money we paid even though they were clearly at a loss.
