“So I’ve been wanting to try the food from here for a couple years now but since it was a couple towns over I always just stuck with local Spanish spots. Well my favorite spots got shut down and I decided today was the day I’d finally order and it did not disappoint!!! I ordered the following : empanada de carne (beef), rellenos de papa (stuffed potato balls), a dessert guava and cheese empanada, the arroz con gandules (yellow rice and pigeon peas) with pernil (roasted pork) and the trifongo with pernil. This all hit the spot I was hoping it would! Also friendly staff. Whoever took my order over the phone was patient and nice. She told me it would be about an hour and food got here in less than that. Will def be ordering again!“

“Very nice spanish eatery downtown linden. They always have several choices. You can dine in the back of the restaurant. When you first walk in, it looks like it's just take out. It's byob. The service is also nice. I've indulged in this place several times, and I really enjoyed it every time! The chicken stew with Arroz con doles is my favorite.“

Parking: There are meters but nobody comes by to check. Street parking available in VERY limited supply. But you're not walking more than a block“

“I finally had a chance to try this spot. Sometimes as a African American you have trouble in places but not this place. It was clean and the service was friendly. I ordered 2 things the stewed chicken both were ample and good. The price for both platters was affordable. Good spot to check out. Ps get some pepper steak on the menu.“

My food was delicious I don’t eat meat so I had two types of rice, vegetables and both beans they had. My daughter had their quarter chicken with rice and beans. “I love coming here! It's super eccentric and there are several unique paintings of the city (made by local artists and are for sale)! The food comes quick, and even when it's super busy there is never a long wait for a table. I have had a few different breakfast and lunch items here, and they never disappoint.“

“A Saturday at 6:20 am, in my way to Teixeira bakery for brakefast, I saw this restaurant and stop for a mangü. It wasn't ready yet, but the yuca (casaba) with spare ribs didn't disappoint. Everything, from the food to the music to the oatmeal was on point. Prices? A precio de llevecelo (affordable). It was a clean and nice surprise.“

I had to order a side of the pulled pork. Also everything was charged separately. Usually when ordering this meal everything comes as one order. Everything was charged separately down to the fried plantains, which I didn't want to begin with. Besides that the food was good. Will go back to try something different, maybe get more meat this time.“
