Owner is super friendly. I love the decorations outside and inside. I spend a good amount of time here as it gives me tranquility the atmosphere.Love the Tres Leches Postre, please try her customized Hot Ginger Tea with fruits inside. Also, the chicken sandwich is delicious ??
2/ l10/24 Saturday - This was our 1st visit to Angies. We were the inly patrons in the restaurant. Service was by Angie herself! I had the Cuban sandwich with FF. My husband had the Tilapia dinner (with rice + beans). Decor is very quaint. Music in the dining area is very Dominican (merengue, of course!) Highly recommend this BYOB .:. It is truly a neighborhood gem!

I have gotten a few different empanadas since working in the neighborhood from Angie's and they are so good!! I tried the chicken stew yesterday, which I asked for with yellow rice, black beans, and plantains and it did not disappoint. It was flavorful, filling, and all cooked perfectly. The prices aren't too bad too. The only thing I would ask for is better containers- I ordered takeout and the liquid from the chicken stew almost spilled out of the container all over my outfit!...read full review
